  • When it comes to clogs, go with the Swedes

The New York Times T Magazine blog recently ran a story on Oregon-based “clogmaster” Cecilia Tidlund. Asked what she thought of the sometimes-ridiculous, sometimes-amazing clogs that appeared on the Chanel, Miu Miu, and Louis Vuitton runways, the Swedish founder of one of America’s first bespoke clog companies said, “I’d rather people get into a bad fashion clog than a ballet flat or flip fop. Flimsy shoes are ruining people’s feet. I’ve seen 12 year olds with bunions.”
