Fashion news: Louboutin gets jazzy, a McQueen underwear line, Vogue Russia’s Naomi Campbell issue and more
Russian Vogue has devoted their April 2010 issue entirely to newly-minted Russian resident Naomi Campbell. The model was also guest editor. Says editor Aliona Doletskaya: “I wanted to debunk a few myths surrounding Naomi. When I suggested the concept, she immediately came and for an hour and a half laid out stories, photography, interviews and other sections. Clearly, quickly, and in a businesslike manner.”[Fashionologie]
Christian Louboutin is the star of the show in “Dancer in a Daydream” which includes a peek into his Paris studio and is capped with the man himself showing off his dance moves in glittery red-soled jazz shoes. [Stylelist]
Alexander McQueen‘s brand revealed today that the designer was creating a men’s underwear line that will launch in June. The boxers and briefs bear the signature skull print as well as feather prints inspired by his final menswear collection. [Vogue UK]
