What’s in your bag, Jennifer Daubney
For today’s bag snoop, we’re going inside the beautiful Marni bag belonging to Jennifer Daubney, Holt Renfrew’s longstanding lady behind the velvet rope (a.k.a. manager of public relations). While her daily dealings may involve some of the best names in fashion, from Tom Ford to Prada and Chanel, she is one of the most hilarious, endearing people we know. Beauty trend: Flushed cheeks, glistening skin and hit-the-showers hair did laps on the Spring 2012 runways. We take a closer look at athletic-inspired beauty
Drenched hair and skin, cheeks flushed from exertion—with clear eyes and full hearts, Kari Molvar contends this season’s beauty can’t lose.

With slicked-back hair and rosy cheeks flushed as if they’d just come in from a run, models strode athletically down the runways in mesh tracksuits, neoprene zip-ups and jerseys ticked with racing stripes. Vancouver: Chantecaille helps cure our French envy
French women seem to have it all: elegance, effortless style, the ability to eat pan au chocolat, brie and crème fraiche and never gain a pound. Sigh.
Here to solve some of our envy is luxury cosmetics and skin care brand Chantecaille, which just debuted at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew (737 Dunsmuir St., 604-681-3121, holtrenfrew.com). They may be New York based, but their soul–and founder, Sylvie Chantecaille–is French.
