Why Musicians Trash their Old Looks and Reinvent Themselves
In seventh grade, I wanted to be Baby Spice. So, despite having wavy brown hair and not being allowed to wear real makeup, I pulled my hair into pigtails, swiped on clear lipgloss and told myself that by doing these things, I looked just like Emma Bunton. Of course, we didn’t look alike, sound alike […]

Victoria Beckham denies us another Spice Girls reunion and walks the red carpet far away from Scary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty
See the Spice Girls’ red carpet looks from London »
Viva is not, as it turns out, forever. At tonight’s London premiere of the Spice Girls musical, Victoria Beckham chose to walk to red carpet without her Girl Power counterparts.
Even without Posh Spice, Scary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty looked like they were having fun on the red carpet, but their wardrobe choices had us raising our eyebrows. Long gone are the days of coordinated outfits—and maybe that’s why Victoria Beckham opted to walk alone. Mel B’s black sequin dress with a thigh-high slit and extremely voluminous hair was fine, yes, and Emma Bunton’s cobalt blue lace-overlay on a black bodycon dress was also red carpet-appropriate. But Geri Halliwell looked completely out of place in a Cinderella-inspired prom dress, complete with curled updo. And Mel C’s army-green dress with glitter detailing looked sleek, but much too casual for a musical premiere.
Even worse, we regret to inform you that no one had platform heels on.

A Spice Girls musical is coming! We take you back to their heyday with the 10 most fashionable Spice Girls moments
By Paige Dzenis and Randi Bergman
Today something magical happened: the Spice Girls reunited to announce plans for an upcoming musical and girls everywhere were instantly sent back in time to 1997. Sadly, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell will not be performing on stage—the musical, called Viva Forever!, will take inspiration from their songs in a Mamma Mia-esque manner and explore the “bitter realities of fame” through the story of a girl on a reality TV contest. Despite claiming that it will not be a tribute show, we can pretty much guarantee than anyone who did a grade school lip synch to “Stop (Right Now)” will be buying tickets (and a flight to London) come December.
Oh, and if you were too excited to notice: the Spice Girls made the announcement on the steps where “Wannabe” was filmed. (!!!) There’s no halting this ’90s rabbit hole we’ve all fallen into, so let’s continue: here are our top 10 most fashionable Spice Girls moments.

Screaming fans (and Baby Spice!) line up to see David Beckham’s hot bod in London
It’s a Beckham takeover out there! Yesterday, we reported that Victoria Beckham’s newest line was selling out of Harvey Nichols. Now it’s David Beckham’s turn, with his bodywear collection hitting H&M stores worldwide today. The soccer legend celebrated in London last night with an in-store launch party and an après-bash at a custom-made pop-up gentleman’s club. And with a campaign shot like this, it’s no wonder ladies like Bianca Jagger, Charlotte Dellal, and Emma Bunton (a.k.a. Baby Spice) showed up to support cop a feel. Last time things got this Beckham crazy, it was the future, and we were in a space ship.
