Kate Middleton wears Pucci while handing out a Paralympic gold medal
See what else Kate wore this weekend at the Paralympics »
Despite the fact that William and Harry are also Olympic ambassadors, it’s no surprise (to us, at least!) that Kate Middleton is the most popular royal at various London 2012 celebrations. Yesterday she took part in her first medal ceremony, presenting the gold for men’s discus. And because Kate always knows how to dress the part, she ditched her usual Team GB uniform for a more official-looking outfit.

Kate Middleton is back in her Olympic uniform for the Paralympics (Plus, our first ever animated gif!)
See a close up of Kate Middleton’s outfit today »
Pictures from today’s Paralympic events brought back all the Olympic joy we’ve been missing these past few weeks—joy which includes the return of Prince William and Kate Middleton having the time of their royal lives. Our excitement over their lovey-dovey cheering of athletes was so great that it inspired the creation of FASHION’s first animated gif. (We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!) Now, onto the important topic of what Kate’s wearing:

Gabby Douglas’ hair makes headlines again: the gold-medal winner got a $1000 haircut from celeb stylist Ted Gibson
Since Gabby Douglas made Olympic history as the first African-American and the third U.S. gymnast ever to win the all-around gold, her hair has also been making headlines. While we still don’t understand why viewers took to social media to call out the pint-sized 16-year-old for having unkempt hair (her bun looked just as slick as her teammates’ updos!) today the story gets a little better: Douglas got a gold medal-worthy haircut from celebrity stylist Ted Gibson.

A complete wardrobe recap from last night’s gilded supermodel invasion of the London Olympics closing ceremony
Among the many highlights of last night’s Olympic Closing Ceremonies, one of our favourites was definitely the supermodel en masse march, a fashion moment that completely cemented London’s role as one of the industry’s capitals. Some of fashion’s most recognized faces, including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell (the definite stars of the show) along with Lily Cole, Stella Tennant, Lily Donaldson, Georgia May Jagger, Karen Elson, Jourdan Dunn and David Gandy, were all clad in seven of Britain’s most revered designers.

Kate Middleton sings along to Monty Python while recycling another look at the Olympic closing ceremony
See all of Kate’s Olympic looks! »
Amidst the excitement of The Spice Girls reunion and the gold-on-gold (on gold) Brit model spectacular at last night’s Olympic closing ceremonies in London, our eyes, as usual, were firmly planted on dear Duchess of Cambridge. Attending alongside Prince Harry to represent the Royal Family, Kate spent the evening in typically good-natured form singing along to the many famed Brit tunes by George Michael, Take That, One Direction and even Eric Idle of Monty Python. In similarly typical form, Kate dropped the Team GB polo she sported mid-games and opted for another old faithful: the dotted-blue Whistles “Bella” dress she wore earlier this summer to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert. It was lucky for us to get a second look given that we never got a good look at the concert, and y’all know how important those are to us! As for the rest of the ensemble, Kate carried her Anya Hindmarch “Maud clutch” which bears a custom embroidered “C” for Catherine and wore the custom Kiki McDonough diamond and topaz earrings she’s been spotted with all summer long.

Kate changes up her Olympic uniform and does white-on-white to cheer on women’s hockey
See all of Kate’s Olympic looks! »
While we’re huge fans of Kate Middleton’s ever-present Olympic uniform (Smythe blazer, Team GB polo shirt, Zara skinnies and Stuart Weitzman wedges), the ladylike white-on-white look she donned for Great Britain’s women’s hockey team bronze medal win today was decidedly refreshing.

Look at this! It seems the Spice Girls will indeed perform at the Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday
Given that we were already in fits of excitement-induced squeals over the mere rumour of a Spice Girls comeback, today’s pictures of the fab five rehearsing has sent us right over the edge.

Kate Middleton loves her Smythe blazer almost as much as her Team GB polo shirts
See all of Kate’s Olympic outfits! »
After a weekend of wearing navy (and a few days away from the public eye) Kate’s back on the scene in London in her classic Olympic uniform. The Duchess watched the women’s hockey semifinals last night while wearing her navy Smythe blazer, Stuart Weitzman wedges, skinny jeans and white Team GB polo shirt—making the outfit very similar to the one she wore during her meet and greet with the team back in March.
