When fashion girls wed: 7 inspiring summer weddings of some of the most stylish girls in the biz
While most of the female population breathes heavy during episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, us fashion folk have, shall we say, finer taste. For those who a layer cake of taffeta doesn’t exactly scream “fantasy,” look no further than the summer weddings of these seven Canadian stylemakers. Street Style, Toronto: How the city’s snappiest dressers brave the coldest winter in years
See the street style from Toronto »
While the fashion flock takes a rest during a rare lull between Fall 2014 shows, we fix our eyes back on home turf. In this batch of shots from the city’s downtown core, photographer Jenna Marie Wakani captures Toronto’s most stylish braving the worst winter on record in bundled up layers.
We spot Olympic-worthy accents on traditional black staples like pea coats and parkas as well as geometric prints. Unconventional outerwear is evident in a chic mustard wrap and a purple cinched waistcoat sported by two daring street goers. And even without fashion week, Chanel proves the accessory of choice for one shopper snapped wearing a Boy chain shoulder bag on Bloor Street.

Toronto Street Style: 30 photos of stylish CNE attendees spotted amidst colourful rides and cotton candy stands
See the Toronto street style photos from the CNE »
The end of summer is the worst. But the CNE (aka. the Canadian National Exhibition, also known fondly as The Ex) is the best! Every year, Torontonians and their nearby neighbours flock to the CNE to enjoy the terror of rickety rollercoasters, disgusting eating (see the cronut burger) and money pit midway games. Why? Cause it’s tradition!
This past weekend, photographer Jenna Marie Wakani hit The Ex in search of stylish attendees and lucky for us, there were plenty. Amidst the furries, carnies and credit card pushers, we spotted many cute guys and gals sporting many summer trends. As usual, denim made many appearances, our favourite of which was on this handy lady, who sports an expertly slashed pair of baggy bootcuts. Another of our favourites was this cute couple, whose impressive hairdos were only matched by cheek-to-cheek grins.
