First There Were Chokers, Now Anklets Are Playing the 90s Comeback Game
I’m pretty sure I can trace back to the exact moment when anklets became cool again. It was the September day a couple of years ago that Calvin Klein debuted their spring 2016 runway show in New York. The minimal label sent models out in languid silk dresses and floor scraping trenches, jazzed up by […]

How to Wear the Pinky Ring Trend that Gwyneth Paltrow Loves
Long before Gwyneth Paltrow consciously uncoupled with former husband Chris Martin, she was rocking the red carpet with a stunning plus-one: a ruby pinky ring. Nestled beside her diamond wedding rings (R.I.P.), it was a breathtaking trio to behold. And despite the serious display of bling, it didn’t look “Kardashian” at all (bless GP). Post […]

Fall 2016 must-haves: 25 pieces we’re drooling over
As editors, we get a peek, often months and months in advance, at what’s coming next. It’s hard not to put parkas on our wishlists in the height of summer and have bikinis on the brain in February. Thinking ahead is one of the best parts of the job, especially when it comes to the […]

8 spring accessory trends, 22 ways to wear them
The best part about accessories is that they have the power to totally transform an outfit, even if you’re still wearing the jeans you’ve hung onto since high school. A brand new bag, a bright suede platform or a choker necklace (that maybe reminds you of those high school days too) are really what bring […]

The 12 best chokers to try now, Nori approved
If North West is spotted in one, it must be a trend. Sure the choker has always been kind of cool but face it, North has a pretty fantastic and reputable team of fashion advisers surrounding her. Remember, it was daddy Kanye who originally pitched leather track pants to Fendi and that trend has been […]

10 drop-dead gorgeous ways to wear this season’s pearl trend
Statement earrings, bib necklaces, stacked rings and jewelled ear cuffs all compete for centre stage on nights out. But pearls? They’re not usually the go-to for party dressing. However this season’s runways beg to differ. Thick twisted strands were spotted at Stella McCartney, multiple south sea treasures dripped from lobes at Balenciaga and full face […]

The weekend in celebrity style: See who made our top 10 best dressed
Summer may not be officially here, but celebs sure dressed the part this past weekend at the seventh annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in sunny New Jersey. Wearing seasonal-appropriate ensembles, A-list stars, models and fashion’s elite enjoyed each other’s company watching the polo match from the sidelines (with Behati Prinsloo throwing out the ceremonial ball toss) and toasting their vintage Rosé to the city skyline.
Some of the stars like Olivia Munn and Leigh Lezark wore little white numbers to help beat the heat, but our eyes were drawn (naturally) to Lupita Nyong’o who worked her usual understated glamour in a statement black and white patterned dress. Two other guests also stuck to the popular black and white dress code. Fifty Shades of Grey’s star Dakota Johnson donned a simple sundress and matching accessories, while Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looked ultra chic in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit with pops of colour in the accessories department.

Christmas Luxury Gifts: 75 fashion trend-inspired items to thrill the stylish ladies on your list
See all the Christmas luxury gifts »
Holiday shopping for the men and women in your life that have exquisite tastes can be a tricky task. But by taking hints from the Fall 2012 runways, shopping for Christmas luxury gifts can be managed a lot easier. We’ve compiled a list of luxury gift ideas just in time for the holiday season to be upon us.
Geometric prints were one of the biggest trends that came down runways for Fall 2012, so impress a lucky lady in your life by honing your Prada knowledge by choosing a luxury gift that is reminiscent of the brand’s fall collection. Or how about looking to the East for Asian-inspired prints in a shoe from Aldo or beauty travel case from Salvatore Ferragamo—both of which wouldn’t look out of place on the Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 runway.
Christmas luxury gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, but it all depends on the giftee’s personal style and tastes. That being said, a fan of Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2012 collection may not appreciate a D.L. & Co. skull candle; so choose your luxury gifts based on his or her sartorial favorites.
The influence of fashion on the gifts featured in our Christmas luxury gift guide will ease you into checking off the stylish family and friends in your life when doing your shopping this holiday season.
