Charting All Of Shailene Woodley’s Best Style Moments
Over the past five years, we’ve witnessed Shailene Woodley seamlessly transition from a teen drama actress into a full-fledged A-lister. The weekend in celebrity style: See who made our top 10 best dressed
Summer may not be officially here, but celebs sure dressed the part this past weekend at the seventh annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in sunny New Jersey. Wearing seasonal-appropriate ensembles, A-list stars, models and fashion’s elite enjoyed each other’s company watching the polo match from the sidelines (with Behati Prinsloo throwing out the ceremonial ball toss) and toasting their vintage Rosé to the city skyline.
Some of the stars like Olivia Munn and Leigh Lezark wore little white numbers to help beat the heat, but our eyes were drawn (naturally) to Lupita Nyong’o who worked her usual understated glamour in a statement black and white patterned dress. Two other guests also stuck to the popular black and white dress code. Fifty Shades of Grey’s star Dakota Johnson donned a simple sundress and matching accessories, while Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looked ultra chic in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit with pops of colour in the accessories department.

Though these purveyors of the more is more philosophy have made many of us comfortable with wearing more bling, there are still plenty of jewellery newbies who still find the piled on look intimidating. While in town at Holt Renfrew last week, the duo doled out tips for wearing statement jewellery while modeling some of their latest pieces for our holiday how-to.

A black and white version of their adored Lovisa earrings are part of the collection, as well as a gold version their basic Etta bib necklace. What’s in your bag, Dannijo’s Danielle and Jodie Snyder?
See what’s inside Danielle and Jodie Snyder’s bags! »
It makes sense that accessory lust-makers would in turn, lust after accessories themselves. We just never realized how much. When Jodie and Danielle Snyder, the sister duo behind the arm party accessories brand Dannijo, stopped by Toronto for their trunk show at Holt Renfrew last month, the two practically spilled Harlequin novels about love for their purses for our What’s in Your Bag shoot. “You know they say plants, pets, people. I think it’s purses, people,” said Danielle. “She’s always on me, I have to know where she is when I’m talking to someone.”

10 stylish ways to celebrate Hanukkah: Dreidel nail decals, port-a-menorahs, festive mascara and more!
See 10 stylish ways to celebrate Hanukkah »
See the rest of our Holiday Guide »Though we all tend to fixate on Christmas around this time of the year, it’s easy to forget that it ain’t the only holiday in town. Hanukkah, the annual Festival of Lights is pretty rad too. Beginning tomorrow night (December 8) and going for 8 days until December 16, Hannukah will be celebrated by Jews by lighting menorahs, spinning dreidels, and eating too many latkes and jelly-stuffed doughnuts (Speaking for myself, that is). And while the kiddies may receive a different gift and a gold wrapped chocolate coin each night, the adults need a little bit of fun too. To ramp up the Hanukkah spirit, we’ve picked 10 super stylish and awesome ways to celebrate including themed nail decals, blue and silver picks and one party ugly partly adorable dreidel sweater. From us here at FASHION (and Adam Sandler of course), Happy Hanukkah!

Vancouver’s Style Common proves that four bloggers are better than one
Four brains (and closets) are better than one. Or at least, that’s what the new site, The Style Common, shows us. Started by four Vancouver-based fashion bloggers (three from our very own Style Panel, no less), The Style Common is a collective that pairs online skills with companies looking to partner with bloggers.
Started by Alicia Quan of Alicia Fashionista, Alexandra Grant, Jen Tam of Her Waise Choice and Jennifer Pistor, The Style Common is tapping into a market that has been steadily building. Bloggers have started to work closely alongside companies with events like Tavi Gevinson touring with Urban Outfitters all summer or Leandra Medine of Man Repeller collaborating with lines like Dannijo. Bloggers have the ability to get the word out about brands, products or whatever through their personal voices and knowledge of what works for their readers.
