Christmas Luxury Gifts: 75 fashion trend-inspired items to thrill the stylish ladies on your list
See all the Christmas luxury gifts »
Holiday shopping for the men and women in your life that have exquisite tastes can be a tricky task. But by taking hints from the Fall 2012 runways, shopping for Christmas luxury gifts can be managed a lot easier. We’ve compiled a list of luxury gift ideas just in time for the holiday season to be upon us.
Geometric prints were one of the biggest trends that came down runways for Fall 2012, so impress a lucky lady in your life by honing your Prada knowledge by choosing a luxury gift that is reminiscent of the brand’s fall collection. Or how about looking to the East for Asian-inspired prints in a shoe from Aldo or beauty travel case from Salvatore Ferragamo—both of which wouldn’t look out of place on the Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 runway.
Christmas luxury gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, but it all depends on the giftee’s personal style and tastes. That being said, a fan of Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2012 collection may not appreciate a D.L. & Co. skull candle; so choose your luxury gifts based on his or her sartorial favorites.
The influence of fashion on the gifts featured in our Christmas luxury gift guide will ease you into checking off the stylish family and friends in your life when doing your shopping this holiday season.

Inside downtown Toronto’s first Marshalls location: Gucci, Nike, Roxy and more flood the racks inside what used to be clubland’s hottest spot
Check out the first downtown Toronto Marshalls
The doors at 126 John St. in Toronto have been shut for two years until Marshalls—an American version of our beloved Winners—reopened them. After the downfall of Peter Gatien’s mega-club/mega-maze, C!RCA, no one knew what to expect from the ridiculously large space until now.
The first downtown location (there are over a dozen other locations in Ontario) of Marshalls spans two floors and occupies 29,000 square feet of off-price designer goods and a whole lot of deals.

TIFF party pics: Kenneth Cole talks mix-and-match black, plus red carpet snaps of Kelly Rowland, Martin Sheen and more
There’s nothing like celebrity endorsement to open hearts (read: wallets) for a good cause. So when Kenneth Cole, Kelly Rowland, Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez signed up to attend the event, so did the majority of the Porche-driving population of Rosedale.
The result was some yummy black tie style, and some yummier conversations with Kenneth Cole and Kelly Rowland. See my Q&A with Cole after the jump.

The Eaton Centre in Toronto is about to get a $120 million face lift. While exact plans are not yet confirmed, we do know they plan on keeping the Canada goose sculptures. Our friends at Toronto Life have suggested a coat check and special lanes for slow walkers. [Toronto Life]
