Owner Shannon Bizon has relocated her just-over-a-year-young store, Shoeuphoria (Grenier Place, 200 St. Albert Rd., St. Albert, 780-418-7785, shoeuphoria.ca), to a sophisticated new space but kept the same affordable prices. Fashion news: Gaga’s on the Telephone in a bedazzed bikini, the Hilfiger/Axl fight and Steve Madden for Madonna for Macy’s
The video for Lady Gaga‘s “Telephone,” featuring Beyoncé is out. In it, Gaga wears a gigantic black and white striped jacket and a bedazzled G-string bikini–in prison. Beyoncé’s outfits include a yellow latex dress with matching cowboy hat (and eyeshadow!). There’s more, obviously.
Model-turned-filmmaker Rie Rasmussen has beef with Terry Richardson and his approach to photography: “He takes girls who are young, manipulates them to take their clothes off and takes pictures of them they will be ashamed of.” Rasumssen ran into Richardson at a party and told him the same thing, in so many words; “I told him what you do is completely degrading to women. I hope you know you only [bleep] girls because you have a camera, lots of fashion contacts and get your pictures in Vogue.” [The Cut]

The Diane von Furstenberg show at New York fashion week will be Nathan Jenden‘s last turn as the company’s creative director. Jenden is leaving the label to focus on his own line in London. [Grazia]
First Neiman Marcus, then Net-a-Porter dropped Emanuel Ungaro for Spring 2010, and word is that now the Ungaro boutique on Madison Avenue is shutting its doors. The shop is reportedly calling customers with the news that they’re closing down shop and are having a liquidation sale. An employee at the shop confirmed the sale, but not the closure. [The Cut]

That lower-priced Balmain line? Not happening. Never was. Says a company spokesperson: “What I think you might be referring to is a capsule collection that was prepared for some Parisian retailers. Christophe Decarnin wasn’t involved in that project. The brand has decided to not repeat the experience, preferring to concentrate all its efforts on the main line.” [Vogue UK]
