Spring 2017 Trend Report: How to Wear the Pantsuit
I am woman hear me roar! A strong, feminist message was woven into many spring 2017 collections, including Dior, where a white tee featured five powerful words. But despite the rallying cry (or maybe because of it?) the pantsuit is the comeback kid of the season. It’s even dabbling in politics, too, thanks to longtime […]

A Look Back at Kylie Jenner’s Curious (But Amazing) Style Evolution
The birth and naming of Saint West has barely taken the pressure of the public eye off of Kylie Jenner since her controversial Interview Magazine cover hit the stands. In the spread, Jenner is dressed as a sort of sex doll in various constricting, shiny leather garments, her arms eerily stiff and arranged at robotic-like […]

Christmas gift ideas, by Zodiac
We look to the stars for answers (or at least some understanding) to our life, everything from love to career to style every time the new month rolls around. With probably the best time of the year slowly creeping up on us, why shouldn’t we ask the stars to help us take the guessing game […]

The week in celebrity style: Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Aniston and More
As us common folk begrudgingly ease into the waning days of summer, celebrities are doing the same with head-to-toe black looks that simultaneously say “I’m mourning,” but “I’m still down for showing some skin too.” With the last of summer’s big blockbusters in the rear view mirror, last week’s premiere circuit was pretty laid back—save […]

Paris Fashion Week: The top 8 trends of Fall 2015
Way back at the beginning of fashion month (it feels like years ago!), we did a bit of forecasting as to what might be the biggest trends for Fall 2015 from what we saw in New York. And given that Paris Fashion Week usually has a pretty definitive roll in finalizing the season’s biggest messages, […]

Spring Fashion 2015: 189 photos of the top 10 trends of the season
The nostalgic nineties may have transfixed us for the past seasons, but come Spring 2015, fashion’s got an all-new decade of choice. Let’s hear it for bellbottoms, sexy silks and peasant blouses because the seventies are back. And while disco may be the first image that comes to mind when thinking ‘70s style, this season’s […]

Your first time at any international fashion week will teach you a valuable lesson: You need a fur. And not just any Margot Tenenbaum style granny hand-me-down. A fur so intricately patterned, multi-layered and artificially coloured, that it has to be designer. Given its place at the apex of the top Fall 2014 trends, you’d think recessionary times were long gone—it’s virtually everywhere, from a hyper colour mink at Altuzarra to a fluffy red dress at Prada. Wear it with caution or as Dior prescribes, dangle it over your arm like it’s no big d. Let the fur fly, scruples or otherwise.

Spring 2014 Must Haves: 3 instant updates that will bring your wardrobe into next season
With spring hovering that much closer, it’s finally time to recharge those warm weather wardrobes (insert smiley face emoji here). This season, there are a few key pieces that will easily transform your look, and we’re here to make that transition as easy as 1, 2, 3.
A ‘90s revival on the runways breathed new life into the slipdress, making it the ultimate wardrobe essential layered under knits, with plaid and camo. Meanwhile, sex appeal was made hip with the advent of the side-slit leather skirt on runways like Proenza Schouler and Reed Krakoff. The long-favoured bomber jacket also reappeared on the runway this season, in satin and with transparent touches at Marc by Marc Jacobs and Dries Van Noten. So get ready to ditch all that heavy winter gear and consider these three as your must-have items to elevate your look this spring

SAG Awards 2014: Our top 12 red carpet picks
See the SAG Awards 2014 red carpet »
If there were one word to sum up the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, it would be colour. All of our favourite stars opted for a bright flash on the red carpet, with nary a head-to-toe black ensemble in sight. Even Jennifer Lawrence’s Christian Dior Haute Couture column dress was an array of shimmering multi-coloured sequins that changed hues as she moved. Black, it seems, is so 2013.
Also on the darker end of things, Jennifer Garner opted for a custom midnight blue Max Mara gown, in her favourite strapless mermaid silhouette. Dame Helen Mirren once again showed how to look seductive and age appropriate with a gorgeous black gown, lifted with gold foliage embroidery, from the Escada Pre-Fall 2014 collection. The wide sash belt, pop of colour on the lips, and black and gold chandelier earrings all worked together seamlessly. We bow down to the greatness that is Dame Mirren.
Bringing some high-voltage blues to the red carpet were frequent best-dressed list toppers Lupita Nyong’o and Amy Adams, both in killer dresses. Nyong’o’s Gucci column dress featured an embellished neckline that was as unusual as it was jaw dropping. Matched with pared down jewels from Fred Leighton, the actress went on to win Best Supporting Actress for 12 Years A Slave in stunning fashion. Adams’ Antonio Berardi gown was perfectly accented with a coral lip, an embellished waist, and complementary green and blue drop earrings.

Spring 2014 shoes: 55 favourites we’re already itching to get our feet into
See our favourite Spring 2014 shoes »
With Paris Fashion Week ending our month long preview of all things Spring 2014, it’s time we gushed over the shoes that accompanied all that we are dying to wear in the coming season.
Femininity reigned supreme on the runway through Balenciaga, Dior and Roland Mouret’s take on the stiletto. Dior’s complexly inter woven straps would make any shoe addict salivate. At Balmain, our impending full coverage boots will shed a few layers and appear as heeled boots with varying dotted sheer and embellished cage finishes. While we saw Saint Laurent’s fall styles embrace the studded and spiked appeal of punk’s aesthetic, Junya Watanabe clung onto the trend for his Spring 2014 shoes with a menacing ankle boot. Enviable green snakeskin heels and platform chunky heels were seen at Gucci and Michael Kors respectively. Spring is incomplete without feather embellished flats as seen at Rochas.
