Fan girls (and boys), take note: the Bay has sweetened the Anna Dello Russo and Tommy Ton in Toronto deal by adding a meet and greet at The Room from 12-1PM on April 21^st to celebrate the When Tommy Met Anna photo exhibit. Word to the wise? This is one event you might want to go all out (and come early) for.

While you may be able to hold your own at dinner with friends, this is the wedding of the century, (with the Queen Mum herself in attendance) and something tells us you’ll have a lot more to worry about than which fork to use first.

Luckily, if you manage to swing an invite, you will be given very strict instruction on what’s expected once you’re inside Westminster Abbey. However, if you’re anything like us and like to be prepared, here’s a crash course in royal wedding etiquette⎯including pointers from both the Monarch and Anna Dello Russo.

I spotted Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan, at the Michael Kors show. An avid collector of the quirky and cutting edge, Dello Russo is best known for her picnic-worthy headpieces. From bejewelled watermelons to metallic cherries, the produce aisle is the coolest new place to find your fashion inspiration. Carmen Miranda would approve.

It’s not even spring yet, but Miuccia’s crazily coloured, patterned and striped fur stoles have already started popping up on everyone from Marc Jacobs to Anna Dello Russo. It-girl Shala Monroque (pictured here with Dasha Zukova) rocked the look at the Valentino spring couture show this week, with a Perfecto jacket and virtually no bottoms. Love it? Hate it? Alber Elbaz has said, regarding Lanvin’s collaboration with H&M, that he wasn’t looking to make Lanvin cheaper, but to make H&M more haute. In an interesting twist on the cheap-chic concept, H&M staged an “haute couture” runway show in New York last night, which featured customized, high-end versions of Elbaz’s and Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver’s creations for the Swedish fast-fashion house. [View the full gallery] In tradition of a couture show, there was even a bridal look–a winking face tee paired with a short off-white ruffled skirt and a puffy headpiece with a long veil. The show was full of the fun that Elbaz is clearly going for with this collection–Anna Dello Russo sashayed out in a hot pink dress accompanied by an equally poufy poodle, and the closing look was the Lanvin x H&M garment bag, which looks quite cute when belted.
