Elle Woods comes alive: the Fordham Law School is creating the Fashion Law Institute for law students interested in fashion, design students and designers, the first law school to treat fashion as it’s own field of study. [WWD]
Tamara Mellon is switching roles at Jimmy Choo from founder and president to founder and chief creative officer. Vogue UK writes that “[I]n this new position Mellon will continue to oversee the label’s brand image, including product design, public relations and advertising campaigns. Sandra Choi will continue in her role as creative director with responsibility for product design.” If Mellon and Choi are both continuing to do what they already did, what exactly is this “new role” for Mellon?
