We have yet to see an instance where the “Call Me Maybe” singer doesn’t look stunning—from award shows to red carpet appearances she’s pretty much flawless—but fans old and new were unanimously in love with her hair and makeup from our October 2012 cover. Is Carly Rae Jepsen the new Taylor Swift? We pit the pop princesses against each other on the red carpet!

Jepsen’s hit “Call Me Maybe” (it’s literally been stuck in our head for weeks) has poised her as the newest artist to invade Taylor Swift’s sugary-sweet pop territory. And while we can’t declare a winner in the recording studio, we do have some thoughts on their dresses of choice.
