Lovelies in Paris: Perfectly Pradaed
Remember our Lovely with the balloon pants? She’s back and paired up with this gent in Prada’s checked pants from last spring.
See the full look after the jump. And tell us: Are you into matching outfits? How much to you covet this woman’s collection of pants?

Paris: Stella McCartney, Giambattista Valli, Viktor & Rolf and Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2009
“God, who are they photographing?” I keep asking, as the crowd of shooters seems rooted to the spot over some unfortunate soul in the front row at Stella McCartney. It’s not Thandie Newton, it’s not Kanye West, it’s not Beth Ditto (who comes in at the very last minute with a six-person entourage). Who could it be? Finally they move away. Oh rigggght. Paul McCartney. That guy.

Lovelies in Paris: Silver streak
Forget what we said yesterday about minis and studded sandals–this Lovely’s layers of greys and Missoni-esque pastels have turned us around. Plus we love any outfit that makes stylish use of a sweatshirt.
Take it all in, after the jump.

Paris: Andrew Gn, Emanuel Ungaro, Dries Van Noten and Givenchy Fall 2009
At Andrew Gn (cool daywear in black, tweed, copper and white made edgy with leather and snake trims and massive earrings, and uber-glam eveningwear like miles of belted column dresses) I bump into Nicholas Mellamphy who recently had to shutter his cool Yorkville boutique Hazel. Guess what? Now he’s working for the Bay as part of their new fashion-forward strategy. Look out, Holts!

Lovelies in Paris: Shaded lady
Diane Pernet of Diane, A Shaded View on Fashion posted without comment because we are not worthy.

Lovelies in Paris: Drape trou
You know what? We’re sort of over skirts (especially those of the mini variety when paired with opaque tights and studded sandals). We lurve pants right now (especially those of the drapey variety, which allow us to eat carbs without fear).
Check this Lovely’s lovely trousers after the jump.

Lovelies in Paris: Graphic traffic
From her bold glasses to her geometric dress, this Lovely is all about graphic design.

Lovelies in Paris: Spring mix
Snow’s back in Toronto, so this Lovely’s mix of greens has us dreaming of sunnier days.

Paris: Sophia Kokosalaki, Jean Paul Gaultier and Roger Vivier Fall 2009
I suppose there could be worse jobs in the world than to have to start your day with a tour through the über-chic Roger Vivier showroom to get a sneak peek at fall’s treats. “Catherine” (as in Deneuve) asked Bruno (as in Frisoni, the Vivier designer) for a new ballet flat,” the PR rep tells me, “so he made her one!” (Hint: it has a pointy-toe with a slight platform). A deck of cards is the theme for the season, and I don’t want to give to much away, but I really heart it in spades.

Paris: Lanvin, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Pierre Hardy Fall 2009
Day two starts not with a bang, but with a “meh” at the Issey Miyake show. Designer Dai Fujiwara collaborated with karate masters to develop flexible fabrics for his latest offerings and the “katas” that the rent-a-karate-masters performed almost stole the show.

Montreal: Denis Gagnon Fall 2009
Euphoric, apocalyptic, and deliciously luxurious: Last night’s Denis Gagnon show was the highlight of Fashion Week.
