Last night’s MTV Movie Awards was full of shirtless, star-studded surprises. Yesterday’s Chanel show went from the runway and beyond on the streets outside Spring 2014 Couture Fashion Week. Outside the Grand Palais, Karl Lagerfeld’s preferred Paris venue, Chanel was the label of choice for models, editors and just all around It girls striving for new and improved takes on those famed double Cs.
Model of the moment Soo Joo, fresh of the Chanel runway, bravely showed some leg in knee high socks, a black fur shearling coat, and sculpted Chelsea boots. Joan Smalls, happily fresh faced, looked the part of a stylish ‘80s rocker in a chic denim, leather and fur combo.

Brit Awards 2013: The top 4 looks on the red carpet
See the Brit Awards Red Carpet looks up-close »
With the Oscars just a few days away, the Brit Awards 2013 mark the last few red carpet moments before Sunday’s grand finale. The excitement is building to a fever pitch, to say the least. The annual music awards show included some of the world’s most famous musical artists. While we won’t be seeing them at the Oscars, they certainly used this moment to shine.
With a more relaxed dress code, many of the attendees experimented with new styles slightly outside of their comfort zone. Taylor Swift arrived in a sophisticated sleek black dress by Elie Saab with a double slit—a more mature look for the singer. Lana Del Rey also wore black, but with a casual vibe that is perhaps not as glamourous as usual. She opted for a simple Chanel shirtdress. Alexa Chung also defied convention, wearing a white Valentino jumpsuit with a pair of simple black stilettos. But leave it to Rita Ora to up the glamour of the Brits. She certainly didn’t play it safe in an Ulyana Sergeenko blush pink couture gown.
Who’s your pick for best dressed on the red carpet?

Case in point: the newly blond Ulyana Sergeenko, who with regal walker in tow, looked every bit as poster princess for Moscow’s matryoshka doll society as ever. Oh, to be a pore on that skin.

Check out the second to last batch of Paris street style photos!
As Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013 starts winding down thus marking the end of fashion month, we’re feeling a little glum about the fact that we’ll no longer have a daily dose of Anna Dello Russo, Giovanna Battaglia, Emmanuelle Alt and the international like. Siiiigh.
But leave it to Stefania Yarhi, our street style photographer, to find a way to perk us right up. That is, she spotted the cream of the fashion crop, which will satisfy our preemptive fashion slump.
