According to a number of unnamed sources, Pilati is set to be replaced at YSL with either Slimane, Simons or Decarnin. The Kaiser is rumoured to retire from Chanel in 2012 (on his 30th anniversary with the brand) and will be replaced with Elbaz of Lanvin. Since street style photog Tommy Ton tweeted “I received some news tonight that is going to SHAKE the fashion world in the next two days. CRAZY!!!!” during Paris Fashion week, we have been going crazy awaiting the news. Word on the street is that Karl Lagerfeld‘s turn at Chanel is coming to an end, and that he will be passing the baton to Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz.
