Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes…it’s hard not to want to rewind to a month ago when we had Thanksgiving north of the border. So while we continue to drool as we double-tap, check out the photos below […]

Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Chrissy Teigen, Leslie Jones, Kim Kardashian—no, I’m not listing my ultimate #squadgoals (although, a girl can dream). Met Gala 2016 Red Carpet By the Numbers
Nude lips, sequins and cut-outs proved to be the ultimate Met Gala starter pack at last night’s opening of the Costume Institute’s Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology exhibition. In total, we tallied up whopping 101 guests donning nude lips (or MLBBs), and a total of 57 sequinned/jewel encrusted ensembles. On the […]

A Look Back at the Best MTV Cribs of All Time
Before Snapchat or Instagram ever existed, it was essentially impossible to peep your fave celeb’s envy-inducing shoe closet or 8-car garage unless you were part of their inner circle. That is, until MTV’s Cribs aired; the famous television program of the early aughts that provided us mere mortals with unprecedented access to the humble abodes […]

Oscars Gift Bags: From the OTT to the WTF
Nothing is more ostentatious than the Oscars. The gowns, the hype, the aggressive red carpet poses—every year it’s more, more, more. The gift bags awarded to the losing nominees are also notorious for their excessive contents, such as 2014’s robotic hair transplant system (worth a cool $16,000) or last year’s PulseWave vibrator (no better way […]

Cara Delevingne, and why so many models are crossing over to Hollywood
It’s happened, everybody: Cara Delevingne has officially quit modelling. (Cue: loud gasps.) According to the Huffington Post, Storm Models (Delevingne’s agency) took the now-actress’ name off its roster this weekend, making her declarations last month very true and real. “The thrill of acting is making a character real,” she told Vogue in June. “Modelling is […]

Stars, they’re just like us: Why celebrity #TBTs are the ultimate equalizers
A photo posted by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) on Nov 5, 2014 at 1:59pm PST The purpose of #TBT is simple: to laugh at yourself before anybody can laugh at you. (Or to humblebrag about how great last week was—even though that defeats the goal entirely.) But what makes the onslaught of our own high school […]

TIFF 2014: 14 celebrities who might be coming to Toronto
See our red carpet picks for TIFF 2014 »
With TIFF 2014 happening in approximately six weeks (!), we’ve been itching to find out which A-list stars will be making their way into Toronto beginning September 4th. Last year’s film festival hit all the high notes with Hollywood’s very best walking the streets of T.O, but judging by the looks of this list, we bet TIFF 2014 is going to be bigger and better than ever.

The Rita Ora for Roberto Cavalli campaign is a print-lover’s paradise
Check out the entire campaign here »
British songstress Rita Ora is the latest face of Roberto Cavalli. This collaboration, shot by renowned photographer Francesco Carrozzini, has been expected since evidence of the shoot was posted on Instagram back in April. However it does come as a surprise that Roberto Cavalli, who recently bashed designers for using celebrities in advertising, would choose Rita Ora (otherwise known as Rihanna Lite) for his own brand. If you can’t beat ’em join ’em, right?

Emmys 2012 Best Dressed: See our top 24 red carpet picks and vote for your favourite
See our Emmys 2012 Best Dressed picks »
There was a surprise winner on the red carpet at last night’s Emmys awards show and it happened to be the colour yellow. It’s safe to say many of the stars had a sunny outlook for the night.
Julianne Moore, Claire Danes, and Kaley Cuoco all sported dresses in egg yolk yellow. Moore opted for pieces from Raf Simmons’ first couture collection for Christian Dior, Danes wore Lanvin which flattered her pregnant belly, and Cuoco wore Angel Sanchez.
Our favourite funny girls, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey, kept their looks simple and classic. Dressed in a cream Balenciaga, black sequined Stella McCartney, and burgundy Vivienne Westwood, respectively, these comedians looked anything but silly.
There were some could-be-prom-queen moments from Zooey Deschanel and January Jones, whose trains were as long as they were wide. Deschanel had a cutesy manicure (of course) to go with her Reem Acra fluffy gown that featured a tiny TV on her nail. Turns out wearing tulle on the red carpet is harder than it seems because Zooey Deschanel got her gown caught on Lucy Liu’s metallic Versace dress. Oh, the agony!
Despite Zooey Deschanel and January Jones’ large looks, many women opted for body hugging dresses. Sofia Vergara resembled a sparkling mermaid in Zuhair Murad which featured a between the boobs cut-out and Hayden Panettiere was feeling blue in her bollywood inspired Marchesa gown. Michelle Dockery also hopped aboard the blue train in a Louis Vuitton satin dress and Nicole Kidman joined as well with a teal embellishment.

TIFF 2012: Selena Gomez wore 3 different dresses yesterday. Which is your favourite?
View the Selena Gomez TIFF gallery »
Selena Gomez had quite a busy day in Toronto at TIFF yesterday, in town to promote her newest and boldest role to date: part of the ensemble cast of Harmony Korine‘s edgy new flick Spring Breakers. Alongside teen-queens High School Musical‘s Vanessa Hudgens, Pretty Little Liars‘ Ashley Benson and James Franco, Selena Gomez attended a press conference, a red carpet premiere and of course, an after party. For each of her appearances, Selena Gomez choose quite a different look. First, at the press conference, she was the vixen, in a strapless leopard-print Dolce & Gabanna dress, simple black heels and flowing brown locks. Second, it was a frothy embroidered and tulle-skirted Marchesa oyster illusion dress worn with a loose updo and gold heels at the red carpet premiere (How she sat comfortably with all that volume, we’ll never know). Finally, it was an age-appropriate strapless red taffeta dress, worn as she posed alongside co-star Ashley Benson at the spring break-themed after arty at Brassaii. Which, of the three looks gets top marks? Our vote goes to Dolce, but what really matters here is yours. Which is your favourite?

TIFF 2012: Kristen Stewart stuns in Zuhair Murad at the Toronto premiere of On The Road
See our full gallery of Kristen Stewart pictures! »
RPatz who? Kristen Stewart certainly brought her A-game to Toronto last night, with bright pink lips, killer heels, a high ponytail and a stunning Zuhair Murad dress embellished with sequins and lace for the TIFF premiere of On The Road. Considering it was her first appearance post-scandal, the sleek outfit did not disappoint. There may have been doubts leading up to her moment on the TIFF red carpet, with many of the very dedicated fans who were camped outside Ryerson Theatre expressing worry that Kristen Stewart wouldn’t actually show up. Instead she was just a somewhat-fashionable hour late to TIFF—and slightly skittish in a “I’m really worried you’re going to ask me about Robert Pattinson” sort of way.
