The ABCs of TIFF boldface

For easy celebrity navigation, enjoy our ABCs of the celebs to spot at TIFF. Be sure to check back during the festivals for red carpet coverage, gossip, interviews and more at fashionmagazine.com/redcarpet.

Is it just us, or has Drew Barrymore been looking really good in London this week?
The Guardian said that no one dressed well this week, but we here at FASHION will have to respectfully disagree. Drew Barrymore has been looking like a doll on her London jaunt to promote her new flick, Going The Distance, with co-star etc., Justin Long. Nothing’s over-styled–it’s all just the right side of quirky. See […]

Marc Thuet, Jamie Kennedy and Blu’s Massimo Collavani were just a few […]

TIFF news: Jennifer Garner on Kanye, Clinton at One x One and Drew at Sweaty Betty’s
At the press conference for The Invention of Lying, the film’s stars Rob Lowe, Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais, weighed in on the Kanye honesty outburst at this year’s MTV VMAs. “I’m sorry, that’s not honesty, that’s just bad manners,” said Garner. [Toronto Life]
Neil Young has sent his regrets to Toronto, and his replacement for the free Yonge-Dundas Square show will be Toronto’s The Carpet Frogs. Rik Emmett of the 70s band Triumph will also join the supergroup of session vets to perform classic Neil Young hits. But, it ain’t nothing like the real thing. [Eye Weekly]

Partying on the Mink Mile
There’s no better way to celebrate the slightly warmer weather than with the reopening of two of our favourite high-enders on Bloor Street. First off was Gucci (130 Bloor St. W., 416-963-5127), where revellers sipped champagne cocktails and mingled among the mass amounts of haute accessories. (We couldn’t get over the flats made for the tiniest of tots). The new store is all luxe.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers gets elemental for Hugo Boss
I admit that I do not watch The Tudors. (I’m under a lot of pressure to watch The Wire, okay?) However, one thing I do know about star Jonathan Rhys Meyers is that he is very, very attractive. This is a surprise to no one, least of all Hugo Boss who have made him the face of their new men’s fragrance, Hugo Element.
You’ve probably seen the ad floating around, but we have some extra shots from the TV commercial and one from the launch last year at the London Eye. It’s our Valentine’s Day gift to you, dear reader. Enjoy, after the jump.
