It’s rumoured that Taylor Lautner will be the next face of Armani fragrance and Armani Exchange. Nothing’s been confirmed, though the pairing does seem like a match made in shirtless, advertising heaven. [The Cut]
Scott Schuman may be working on a reality TV show. Schuman recently told the Pedestrian, “[T]here’s maybe a TV show coming up, maybe a clothing collection coming up. I was offered a lot of shows before, and I don’t think the companies were right that were asking me. But this company I think is right. It’s a very well known Director and all. Today in unnecessary collaborations: Kings of Leon are diving into the design world with a new collaboration with Surface to Air. The collection will be available exclusively at Copenhagen boutique Paris Texas. The line will be, well, pretty much exactly what the musicians themselves would wear: tons of flannel, bomber jackets and skinny pants. [BlackBook]

Thierry Mugler Womenswear may be back on the runway next year. Creative director Rosemary Rodriguez, who has been designing Mugler menswear, just showed a mix of new and archived pieces during Russia’s Volvo Fashion Week, sparking rumors that she’s prepping for a RTW show. [FWD]
Giorgio Armani has been hinting at retirement. He told reporters in Moscow, “I’m already organizing staff who will continue my work.” The designer was ill with hepatitis earlier this year and reorganized the management of his company lessen his workload. “Of course I am not eternal, there comes a time when you must hand it over.” [The Cut]

It’s been confirmed that Martin Margiela is no longer involved in the design process for his company, Maison Martin Margiela. Rumours are swirling around his replacement–most pointing the finger at Haider Ackermann–although Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, who has a majority stake in Martin Margiela, would not name names, saying only, “We have a new fresh design team on board.” [Vogue UK]
Kirsten Dunst is starring in a new film: a short that follows the actress hopping around downtown Tokyo dressed in full Harajuku girl garb. The film is part of the Tate Modern exhibit “Pop Life: Art in a Material World,” created by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. [FWD]

Coco attacks New York with a microphone
Back in February the fashion blogerati were all chattering wildly about the newly (and now no longer) redheaded Coco Rocha gunning around New York Fashion Week wielding a mic. The Canadian mannequin was on assignment for E! Canada, chronicling her life during fashion’s holy week and interviewing a barrage of personalities. The results, Coco Rocha Fashion Attack NYC, which airs tonight at 10 p.m. EST on E! (check your local listings), are an hour-long chronicle of model mayhem—makeup at DVF, a fitting at Michael Kors, agent meetings and house parties.
