Street Style, New York: 51 star-studded photos of Nicki Minaj, Julianne Moore and more outside Spring 2014 fashion week
It’s day seven of New York Fashion Week which means NYFW is officially wrapping up. With the scorching weather, everybody was happy to peel off layers and embrace the heat with summer dresses. While Miroslava Duma and Olivia Palermo showed off their toned legs in printed ensembles, a few fashion show regulars took cues from the Spring 2014 runway by pulling out pleated skirts and sheer fabrics.

Street Style, London: 25 photos featuring Caroline Sieber, Man Repeller, Garance Doré and Mickey Mouse ears outside the Fall 2013 shows
See the street style photos from London Fashion Week »
The fashion flock has flown the coop! With Fall 2013 already at an almost-end in London (there’s no such thing as a long weekend during fashion week) this offbeat batch of street style photos from London-based photographer Shirin Fathi will have to quench your street style thirst (until tomorrow that is). Certainly the quirkest city style on the fashion show map, London showed its true colours once again with fashion week showgoers wearing bright colour blends of cobalt blue, pylon orange and acid green as well as being the first to try a head-to-toe Mary Katrantzou from the designer’s postcard-heavy Spring 2013 collection. London showgoers were also the first (we’ve seen in daylight) to break out the champagne while gawking outside the shows, and to them we offer a toast right back. To Fall 2013 (and those adorable Mickey Mouse ears spotted here!)

See the party photos from Secret Location’s The Sartorialist event »
A day late—the event got bumped from Monday to Tuesday—but not short on fans, The Sartorialist Scott Schuman wielded a Sharpie for more than three hours to sign prints and copies of Closer, his second street style tome, at Secret Location.
Dressed in Johnny-Cash-all-black, he moved to the adjoining restaurant afterwards for cocktails, more book signings and photos with a VIP crowd, including PR maven Shannon Heth (he told her he liked her hair), man about town Fred Lee, Style Quotient’s Paul Melo and a flock of Wilhelmina models. When it wrapped, he bounded back to the airport to board a return flight to New York.

Scott Schuman may be working on a reality TV show. Schuman recently told the Pedestrian, “[T]here’s maybe a TV show coming up, maybe a clothing collection coming up. I was offered a lot of shows before, and I don’t think the companies were right that were asking me. But this company I think is right. It’s a very well known Director and all. I would be in the show but definitely not the focus just like there’s one picture of me in this book.” [Fashionista] [The Cut]

Mark Fast’s size scuffle, model flops at Phillip Lim and more
Mark Fast’s show at London Fashion Week is causing a stir for his use of three average-sized models. Two staff members–the stylist and creative designer–quit because of the decision. The real upset here is that it’s even a big deal that these girls are giving the rake-thin beanpoles a run for their money. There’s plenty of room on the runway for everyone, right? [Fashionista] [YouTube]
What do you think of Fast’s decision? Do you want to see more realistic sizes on the runway? Tell us in the comments!
