Page Pam Anderson and cue those slow mo runs along the beach because Baywatch, in all it’s tacky glory, is back. Set to hit theaters later this month, the re-boot stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra and Alexandra Daddario as the new bodacious lifeguard bunch. Part crime busters, part eye candy, the cast definitely […]

Men on trend: The evolution of the bearded hunk, from Burt Reynolds to Ryan Gosling
He has clearly just rolled out of his log cabin to forage for berries and slap a tin coffee pot over a fire of loose twigs. His long hair and beard are wild, and he is dressed in things thermal and plaid, with barely laced, modified Kodiaks on his feet.
A maniac living off the grid? Hardly. This was the subject of a recent lush fashion spread in the Financial Times: a manly man “whose hardwearing frontier style is wildly on trend.” Total cost of the new Daniel Boone’s morning attire: $7,925, which includes his Gold Cybele necklace and Wright & Teague rings. Once, this beast-man would have been mistaken for a 1970s pot dealer, a sasquatch or our sexual antithesis. (I have heard so many women long for the smooth, hairless type that for years I assumed all women were looking for male/female hybrids.)
But now—as with another ’70s icon, Burt Reynolds lying bare-ass on a bearskin rug—the woodsman is a bona fide hunk, a highly masculine, testosterone-flaring, sexy wild thing who makes us look and feel so tiny and, well, pruned beside him.

TIFF 2013: Inside Friday night’s Grey Goose Soho House parties with Daniel Radcliffe, Zac Efron and more!
See the photos from Grey Goose Soho House »
Adolescent fantasy worlds nearly collided last night when Daniel Radcliffe aka Mr. Harry Potter himself and High School Musical’s Zac Efron attended back-to-back TIFF 2013 parties at Grey Goose Soho House. Radcliffe was there first to celebrate Horns, his Kafka-esque new film about a young man who starts growing horns after his girlfriend’s death; earlier in the day the star hammed it up on the red carpet in a devil headband. Grey Goose cocktails with festival-ready names like Torontini were passed around as Radcliffe and his beautiful blonde co-star Juno Temple posed for chummy photos by the fireplace before heading out into the night.
Efron arrived shortly after, looking dapper as ever in a slim-cut grey suit. The Disney heartthrob held court on a plush leather sofa in one corner with his Parkland co-stars Tom Welling, Paul Giamatti and Colin Hanks, the spitting image of his father Tom (seriously, it was like watching Big). It was clearly boys’ night out as the posse chatted and chowed down on quinoa salad together. Hanks was easiest to spot as he worked the room, basically towering over his costars who, like most actors, were all much smaller in real life.

TIFF 2013: The full list of the stars coming to town (plus, how we may embarrass ourselves in front of them)
It’s here! After about a month of speculation since the Toronto International Film Festival first announced its roster of films, a list of attendees has been released through the festival’s Pinterest page and it’s A-list enough to get your stalking senses tingling. We ain’t even going to try to hide the fact that we become extraordinary (but elegant) creeps during TIFF, so without further ado, here’s our game plan for approaching the biggest and best stars at TIFF 2013.

Celebrity Moustaches: 22 photos of Movember-apropos ‘staches throughout the years (Gosling, Efron, Pitt and more!)
See some of the best celebrity moustaches »
If you hate moustaches, then November is most likely your least favourite month. If you’re a fan of the ‘stache though, you better get excited because the familiar formation is making its way onto upper lips all month long. Why the moustache? Movember, of course. Movember is a month-long initiative during which men begin clean-shaven and grow a moustache for 30 days. Movember doesn’t only raise awareness about men’s health issues but each donation goes to Prostate Cancer Canada and the Movember foundation—which funds public education and support for those affected. Participating men also earn the title of a Mo’ Bro for their support and campaign.
To celebrate Movember, we’ve gone back to some of the leading babes and celebrities in fashion and Hollywood and picked the moments when they sported a moustache (Movember-induced, or otherwise). James Franco’s ‘stache came along with him as he promoted the movie 127 Hours whereas Terry Richardson’s is as much a part of his persona as his other classic accessory—two thumbs up. Between James Franco and Terry Richardson, there’s Zac Efron, Robert Redford, Tom Selleck, and more. And for those who hate the month, we’ll feel bad for you for the next 29 days.

TIFF 2012: Ewan McGregor, Petra Nemcova, Dustin Hoffman and Gael Garcia Bernal were just a few of the many stars at Grey Goose Soho House last night
See all the Grey Goose Soho House TIFF party pics! »
Sunday night continued to prove that no matter what TIFF happenings are going on, it all comes back to the Grey Goose Soho House. At the onset of the evening, cast from both The Sessions and Byzantium stopped by before hitting the red carpet. Irish ingenue Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton had dinner prior to the world premiere of their dark vampire flick Byzantium, while Helen Hunt, William H. Macy, John Hawkes and The Sessions director Ben Lewin mingled with friends.
A private party was held on the third floor for At Any Price, with Dennis Quaid, Clancy Brown and Maika Monroe in attendance. Considering that Maika Monroe’s The Bling Ring cast-mate Emma Watson was at Soho House the night before we had hoped for a repeat appearance, but alas, no luck. (Perhaps Emma Watson was off somewhere else, catching up with Daniel Radcliffe who’s also currently in Toronto filming The F Word? We can only dream!)

Meet Lily Collins: Our April cover star discusses her breakout role as Snow White and gives us the lowdown on her spring wardrobe staples
Princess Diary
By Dennis HensleyLily Collins embarks on a thoroughly modern fairy tale with her first starring role,
as a sword-fighting, prince-saving Snow White. When Lily Collins arrived for her first costume fitting as Snow White on the Montreal set of Mirror Mirror, she assumed the most fabulous getups would go to her co-star Julia Roberts, who plays the evil queen. “I saw all these dramatic, colourful, amazing outfits and I thought, ‘Wow, Julia’s so lucky,’” says the 23-year-old British-born actress who’s best known for playing Sandra Bullock’s daughter in The Blind Side. “And then they started bringing them in, and I said, ‘Is this for me?’ The first outfit took 25 minutes to get into, and when I looked in the mirror I got teary-eyed.” Then there were the elaborate sets; she describes a giant indoor forest and 40 tons of salt for snow. “I was sprinting through this huge room of trees, in my ball gown, sword-fighting, going up cliffs,” she marvels. “When the crew brought their kids onto set, they would see me and start crying. They were like, ‘Blanche Neige!’”
