Rihanna’s latest shades for M.A.C Viva Glam are simultaneously ‘90s and futuristic and the best
Check out the Rihanna for MAC Viva Glam 2 collection »
Rihanna loves her some green—whether she’s surrounded by money or weed, it’s her go-to shade. Now, the second Rihanna for MAC Viva Glam 2 ad campaign has arrived, and in typical fashion for both the singer and the beauty company, it’s loud, unexpected and stunning. Sporting neon green from (literally) head to toe, the campaign introduces two new products: a Warm Mauve with Silver Frost Lipstick and a Cool Mauve with Red Frost Lipglass. The bold metallic shades are quite a departure from the classic red from the first Rihanna for MAC Viva Glam collection (which is still available, by the way), but if there was ever a pop star meant to front a collection of frosted mauve lip shades, it’s RiRi.
You can get the Rihanna for MAC Viva Glam 2 collection starting September 8 online, and September 11 in stores. The lipstick and lipglass will be available through February 2015. The lipstick will sell for $16 and the lipglass will retail for $15, and as always, 100% of the proceeds will go toward helping men, women and children living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Afternoon Delight: Give your nails the ultimate iridescent update with M.A.C’s Pink Pearl topcoat
I am not someone who’s ever been drawn to the terms ‘pink’ or ‘pearl.’ I’m pretty sure I just rolled my eyes while typing those words out of sheer habit. However, M.A.C Nail Transformations in Pink Pearl will make even the most infuriating angst-ridden youths (me) consider switching over to the light side. The topcoat […]

Would you wear M.A.C’s Kelly and Sharon Osbourne collection?
See the complete M.A.C Kelly and Sharon Osbourne collection »
As if M.A.C’s upcoming collabos with Lorde and Marge Simpson weren’t exciting enough, the cosmetics powerhouse has now paired up with the English mother-daughter duo, Kelly and Sharon Osbourne.
Famous for the dysfunctional, but close-knit vibes they portrayed on their Emmy-winning family reality show The Osbournes, these two hit international success alongside the heavy metal, profanity-shouting Ozzy and Kelly’s brother Jack. Not to mention Kelly’s more recent success as a panelist and presenter on E!’s Fashion Police. With Kelly’s Lavender hair and Sharon’s fire-red shortcut being the shining-stars of inspiration, this collabo has resulted in one rad makeup line.

See the M.A.C. Lorde collection »
The details surrounding Lorde’s much-anticipated collection for M.A.C. have been revealed and as we expected, it’s all about recreating our cover girl’s signature goth glam look.
The 2-piece collection features the aptly-named “Pure Heroine” deep plum lipstick, a shade synonymous with the singer, and a Rapidblack liquid eyeliner called “Penultimate,” which is the deepest, darkest M.A.C. shade available. Going for $16 and $20 respectively, the shades are a one-two punch for recreating the singer’s look at home when they hit select stores and online on June 5. (A widespread release will go international in early July.)

Rihanna’s new look: Is the patron saint of badassery going soft on us?
See all of Rihanna’s most recent looks »
Rihanna, otherwise known as the baddest b*tch on Instagram, is embracing a softer side for 2014. She’s been stepping out in more than a few mega classy spring looks as of late and while we’ll never not crave a little stripper steez, her softer side equally intrigues us. After all, any good fashion plate must shed her layers once in a while.
This weekend, Rihanna attended Roc Nation’s pre-Grammy party in the opening look from Altuzarra’s latest lady-for-everyday collection. The Spring 2014 outfit featured a silk striped button down blouse that was worn tucked into a three-quarter-length fold-over stripe skirt and paired with white Manolo Blahnik heels as well as an assortment of bling by Neil Lane, Roseark and Jennifer Meyer. Okay, so the top was unbuttoned down to her naval and the skirt was slit to her lady bits. It’s still quite a departure from this this and this (and this).

Capping off a year in style always seems so, for lack of a better word, crazy.
