22 Co-Stars Who Dated IRL (and are Still Going Strong)
In latest celebrity couple news, rumour has it Riverdale‘s Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart (who play Jughead and Betty respectively) are currently dating. The co-stars were reportedly looking cozy at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2017 and “were very open with their PDA at parties during the event, and close friends did not seem surprised.” According to […]

Katy Perry vs. Rachel Bilson: Who wore cobalt blue best on the red carpet?
See the cobalt blue looks up close »
While summer cocktails keep us cool on the almost dog days of summer, cobalt blue trend is doing the same on the red carpet. The intoxicating shade has become quite a favourite this year, with Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift and Jessica Chastain counted amongst its A-list fans.
Conveniently for Katy Perry, cobalt blue also happens to be the favourite shade of The Smurfs, whose second animated film Smurfs 2 co-stars the singer herself. To promote the film, Perry’s been wearing nothing but the shade, which we think is pretty awesome. Dressed in head-toe-blue at the Los Angeles premiere over the weekend, Perry wore a dress by Tadashi Shoji from the Fall 2013 collection. With floral appliques on the bodice, the sleeveless dress also features a small bow belt and leather pleated skirt that falls past the knees. Matching her outfit, the songstress adds a pair of blue heels with a black bow accent by Pedro Garcia and sapphire crystal earrings by Swarovski. She finished off her look with pink lips, a matching pink manicure and with her hair styled in classic sixties waves.

Video: See the full Chanel Spring 2011 runway show
Even if you’ve seen pictures of the clothes, this video of the Chanel Spring 2011 show is worth watching because it captures the size of the spectacle–the movement of the clothes and the models weaving around a manicured garden inside the Grand Palais. There are also post-show interviews with Claudia Schiffer, Leigh Lezark and Inès […]

Dispatch from Milan: The blues (and George Clooney) at Giorgio Armani
It’s the last day of Milan Fashion Week. Am I blue? Not at all, but Giorgio Armani certainly is as he closed the week with a calm, serene show full of dark, inky hues. The collection mixed a new silhouette of short cropped jackets layered over long skirts and dresses, or, sometimes, over shorter skirts and narrow pants. With sheer fabrics, turban hats, flat sandals, a ruffle here and sequins there, Mr. Armani had his audience enraptured. (George Clooney in the front row didn’t hurt.)
Calm seemed to be the word of the day.

Red carpet round table: The best and the worst of the Met Gala
Now that fashion week, the Globes and the Oscars are all done, we’ve been starved for serious red carpet action for the past couple of months. Last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala in New York at least promised to give us fodder for red carpet punditry. The theme was American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity–the exhibit currently on at the Met’s Costume Institute and the most awaited guest of the evening was the American fashion force Lady Gaga. She didn’t show up on the red carpet and the result was a mostly-expected line-up of dresses. (Though even Gaga wore an Armani bodysuit that was near-identical to the one she wore at the Oscars, so yawn.) Diane Kruger’s blazingly white Calvin Klein was the clear winner of the evening, but Gap’s “collaborations” with Rodarte, Sophie Theallet, Thakoon and Alexander Wang were an almost universal disappointment.
After the jump, features director Leah Rumack, fashion market editor Sarah Casselman and I dish on the best, the worst and the most, um, interesting ensembles of the night.

New York: Tommy Hilfiger, Malandrino, Ports 1961, Calvin Klein and Zac Posen Fall 2009
Don’t you just love starting the day with a tea and a little Tommy?
My first show of the day was Tommy Hilfiger, but before I talk clothes, I must talk crushes. My main squeeze—well, officially Diane Kruger’s—is Joshua Jackson. He brought along his million-dollar smile, baby face and jet black Wayfarers (and Kruger). Aw, Pacey….you’re all grown up but dang, you have that boyish charm down pat.
