5 minutes with Georgia May Jagger: The face of Just Cavalli talks about fragrance, modelling and her mother
At the launch of the Just Cavalli fragrance in New York, FASHION Magazine’s beauty editor, Sarah Daniel, sat down with the face of the campaign, Georgia May Jagger. Jagger discussed the influence her mother, Jerry Hall, has had on everything from modelling to fragrance choices and revealed that, just like the rest of us, she’s obsessed with Karlie Kloss. Watch the video above to go behind the scenes of the shoot for Just Cavalli and read on for the full interview.
I just saw the TV ad campaign for the fragrance. It looks like it was a fun shoot.
“It’s very saucy.”Your mom, Jerry Hall, has been the face of several advertising campaigns; did she give you any advice?
“She always says try to have fun, be yourself. All that kind of stuff.”Mom stuff.
“Yeah, mom stuff. Then she’s always telling me I need to take a break, and stuff like that.”Your mom was on the U.K. version of Dancing with the Stars, right?
“She showed me [her dance] the other day in the kitchen, and I was really impressed. I have actually never seen her dance before; she’s not a big dancer so it was very impressive to see that. Her body looks amazing, she has been working out, she’s lost a lot of weight.” -
Spring 2013’s statement sunglasses trend: 14 attention-getting frames in every price range
See our 14 statement sunglasses picks »
Sunglasses for spring may not be considered entirely groundbreaking, but this season it’s time to cast aside the traditional aviators and think bigger, brighter, and bolder. Added bonus: a pair that blocks 100 per cent of UVA and UVB rays protects your eyes from being damaged so picking up a couple pairs is really for your health.
The Spring 2013 runways got us thinking about oversized and unique frames but Ron Arad’s out of this world frames sold us on the fact that statement sunglasses are the one accessory we really need. The Israeli architect has not only created completely new shapes for frames but has transformed how they are made by making them completely adjustable, hingeless and only using one piece of material for an entire pair. If that isn’t taking sunglasses to a new and more innovative place, we don’t know what is.

Prada’s quirky frames have been decorated with graphic floral prints. While at Missoni and Just Cavalli, sunglasses were designed in vibrant hues.

FASHION’s March cover girl Hailee Steinfeld made a splash in a pretty pink coat, sitting directly opposite me at MaxMara yesterday. I couldn’t get near her to say hi, though, unless I wanted to risk breaking a toe. There’s no competing with paparazzi, especially the Italian variety.
Here are four key trends from Day Two of Milan Fashion Week to add to your fall hit list:

MFW Diary: We’re playing I Spy from the streets to the shows (Moschino! Versace! Cavalli!)
It’s day three in Milan and we’re playing I spy from the shows to the streets.
9:00 a.m.: I spy… A ‘90s moment at Moschino. The lineup of leather perfectos embellished with giant peace signs and hearts, oversized gold hoop earrings, quilted hip packs, gold studded bags, and slick skinny trousers instantly brought three names to mind: Naomi, Christy, Linda. A ‘90s-inspired collection requires the supermodel stars of that decade.

Milan: September 20 and 21
By Susie Sheffman
I’m here! Landed this morning and literally hit the ground running. Wish I could say the same for my suitcase, which obviously thought this week was Paris Fashion Week and ditched me for the City of Lights.

Can someone please tell me how it’s possible that I’ve been in Italy for a mere 12 hours and have already eaten pasta twice? Say ciao bella to my low-carb plan for the week! But on to why I’m really here–the clothes!
