See more Kate Middleton style »
Today’s tour itinerary brought the royals to New Zealand’s South Island, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting the Blenheim War Memorial and stopping to greet the many local faces who lined up to meet them. Blue is one of Kate Middleton’s favourite colours to wear (just scroll through our complete gallery of her every look to see what we mean) and rightfully so: look how flattering that cornflower blue coat is! The piece is a custom design from Alexander McQueen, combining elements from two belted crepe coats available this season. The stunning colour, however, is all Kate—or perhaps was a suggestion from designer Sarah Burton, who clearly knows how to make the duchess shine.

See all 20 exclusive styles of Stuart Weitzman 5050 boot »
It’s been 20 years since the iconic 5050 riding boot from Stuart Weitzman hit the scene and garnered a cult-like following. To celebrate this milestone, the designer partnered with Gilt.com and created a capsule collection of 20 styles of 5050 boot to be sold over 20 days on the exclusive site.
To kick off the digital pop-up shop and toast the boot’s anniversary, a star-studded party was thrown last Wednesday in New York City. Notable names like Olivia Palermo, Padma Lakshmi and Miranda Kerr were decked out in their favourite 5050 boots and guests were treated to a display of the 20 exclusive styles, all available to try on. Stuart Weitzman sprinkled a little dazzle on the celebration by introducing a custom crafted boot, The Safari, made up of 25,000 Swarovski crystals hand-set in a leopard pattern.
But back to the online sale! Launched on October 17, the Gilt.com collection includes styles that boot lovers have come to expect, such as black patent and nappa leather. There are also seven suede finishes available, ranging from neutral hues like brown and taupe, to rich jewel tones including forest-green, blue and purple. Stuart Weitzman has also introduced new textures and prints, including a cognac-coloured leopard print, black and white zebra and an embellished crystal snake pattern. While the 5050 boot ranges from $598 and up, the aforementioned Swarovski-set Safari pair comes at the ultimate splurge of $10,000.

Exclusive: Watch Kate Moss strut her stuff for Stuart Weitzman
Is it too ambitious to want to own the word ‘walk’ and make it synonymous with your brand? Certainly not for shoe giant Stuart Weitzman, whose latest campaign aims to do just that. With Kate Moss as its star, Stuart Weitzman launched the Made For Walking campaign last night in Milan, to an audience of fashion influencers celebrating the brand’s new flagship store.
To kick off the worldwide campaign, we have an exclusive clip of a behind the scenes look at this exciting collaboration. However, the final footage is also a must-watch: Filmed in black and white, the Kate-centered video takes us to the back of a chauffeured luxe car where the petite model, in a shaggy coat, grows impatient with London traffic and finally decides to walk the rest of the way. Cue Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made for Walking” as the hard to miss icon effortlessly struts down a few central London streets turning every head and sparking boot envy from passersby as she goes.

After her recent Vanity Fair cover and the release of her own book, Kate Moss has now been named the face of Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2013 campaign.
Photographed in black and white by Mario Testino (a long time collaborator of Moss’s), this role marks the first time the British supermodel has modeled in an American shoe designer’s campaign, despite her nearly two-decade career.
Of the shoot, Moss said “I had a great time shooting the Stuart Weitzman campaign and I’m so happy to be the face of the brand this season. Working with Mario Testino is always fun and it was wonderful meeting Stuart on set.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William dance the night away in grass skirts and floral headdresses (oh, and Alice by Temperley!)
See Kate Middleton’s outfits up close! »
Yesterday we asked if it was possible for Kate Middleton and Prince William to look even more relaxed during the last leg of their royal tour of Southeast Asia and the South Pacific and today it seems that the answer is a very enthusiastic “YES!” This morning they arrived in Tuvalu, a Polynesian island that’s north of Fiji (almost closer to Hawaii than it is to Australia) and Will and Kate were immediately immersed in the local culture. After being greeted by the Governor General, Kate Middleton and Prince William were carried through the crowd on thrones created just for the occasion. Then came the flower headdresses—which paired quite well with Kate’s pale-yellow daisy eyelet lace dress. The very Louis Vuitton Spring 2012-esque frock was made by an unnamed seamstress (apparently a custom order for Kate) and has oversized sleeves, a trim waist and a pleated skirt. Kate Middleton was also wearing her Stuart Weitzman Minx wedges and Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings.
But it was later that night that the real island party began.
