Karolina Kurkova vs. Hilary Swank: Who wore Michael Kors best?
See the Michael Kors looks up-close »
The Michael Kors fashion show is always one of the highlights of New York Fashion Week, and it was no exception for Fall 2013. With the brand’s profits at an all-time high, the front row was as star studded as ever.
Today’s mod futurist presentation hosted A-list attendees including Zoe Saldana, Michael Douglas, Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith. Also in attendance, Hilary Swank and Karolina Kurkova, who both adopted Kors’ Spring 2013 signature stripe in two very different ways.

Hell has frozen over: Anna Dello Russo has worn the same dress at least 4 times this month
Anna Dello Russo has been seen in almost-the-same dress not twice, not three times, but four times. And during fashion month, too! A shande. Dello Russo first appeared in the embellished little (and we mean little) number alongside model Karolina Kurkova during Fashion’s Night Out in New York. They were twins, and it was cute. Little did we know that the twin trend would rage on… and on. We’re not sure if Kate Middleton‘s recycling ways are rubbing off on the typically over the top Vogue Nippon editor, or that she’s trying (and trying hard) to promote her fellow countryman, Italian designer Fausto Puglisi, who’s behind the fraternal twin creations. Either way, we’re just wondering how upset Tommy Ton is.

NYFW style snaps: Nicola Formichetti, Anna Dello Russo, Karolina Kurkova, and more at Fashion’s Night Out!
Replace candy for clothes, and Fashion’s Night Out could easily be described as the Halloween of fashion (no, not because it’s scary). For one night only, the streets of New York are jam-packed with merrymakers trying to navigate their way from one party to the next. In and amongst the crowd, our boy Lewis Mirrett was snapping away, capturing all of the festivities in his signature vibrant way! We’re feeling pretty jazzed by the photos, and have added some hilarious (we hope!) captions to add to the fun. Enjoy!

They said/We said: We weigh in on the Kate Moss vs. Charlene Wittstock weekend wedding battle
We didn’t think it was possible to rival the buzz around the royal nuptials (or the buzz around the royal visit, either), but this weekend in Europe, a double wedding of sorts pegged supermodel Kate Moss and former Olympic athlete Charlene Wittstock against Kate and Will in the battle for the biggest wedding of the year. Here’s everything you need to know about Mosstock and the wedding we like to call the Monaco Magnificence.
Moss married Jamie Hince of the Kills on July 1, at St. Peter’s Parish in Southrop. Confirming rumours, the supermodel made a controversial decision by wearing a custom-made sheer, bias-cut John Galliano dress, while Hince opted for a couple of Yves Saint Laurent tuxedos by Stefano Pilati. After the ceremony, the couple hosted a weekend-long reception at Moss’s nearby home. The fashionable guests included Anna Wintour, Jude Law, and Daphne Guinness, as well as a surprise appearance by Galliano (what was on his acid tongue, we would love to know). Stella McCartney also designed three outfits for the bride, including the white pantsuit she sported as she left for her honeymoon on a helicopter. Very Bianca Jagger, if we may say so.
Wittstock chose an off the shoulder, beaded Armani Privé gown for her big day. The ceremony took place at the medieval palace of Monaco and was said to be more formal than Moss’s the day before. Naomi Campbell managed to make it to both events, with outfit changes to boot. Karl Lagerfeld, on the other hand, chose to attend the royal affair, as did Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and Karolina Kurkova. Despite the gossip that Wittstock attempted to leave her fiancé, Prince Albert of Monaco, after learning of his third illegitimate child, the event went on as planned and ended with a heartfelt speech from the prince to his new wife.

The spotter’s guide to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Let’s be clear about one thing: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is not really about fashion. But we knew that, and anyway, it doesn’t really matter. Not to the hordes of young women that appear out of nowhere, pink shopping bags in hand, within a 500-metre radius of any of the lingerie titan’s locations. (There are eleven stores in Canada–four Victoria’s Secret and seven for their younger Pink line.) Not to the crowd that piled into the Armory on Lexington Avenue on November 10 to see the show–a group that included Gerard Butler, Adrien Grenier, Russell Simmons, Malin Akerman and Paris Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld. Not to every person who we’ve spoken to in the two weeks since who want to know how the Angels look up close (gorgeous, obviously), how much they have to exercise (Adriana Lima trains six days a week leading up to the show) and whether the wings are heavy (Candice Swanepoel‘s trainer give her extra shoulder exercises to prepare).

Jimmy Fallon: “What is the new black?” Marc Jacobs: “47.” Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to talk up Fashion’s Night Out, but also covered Jacobs’ shoulder surgery, his “kilt that’s not a kilt,” Vogue’s value per dollar, and banana suits. [The Cut]

Diane Kruger beats our editor at petanque!
Call it the Chanel invasion of St. Tropez. Hundreds of models, fashion editors and Chanel groupies have descended on this chic port town for the unveiling of the Chanel Cruise collection.
Last night guests battled it out in a petanque tournament [Ed: basically lawn bowling played on gravel] in the main square, Place des Lice, that followed a screening of a short film by Karl Lagerfeld.

Lady Gaga has been named the new face of M.A.C’s AIDS Fund campaign. But she didn’t even show her face last night at the Accessories Council’s ACE awards, where she hid behind a netted lace headpiece. We can tell it’s you from a mile away, Gaga. [The Cut]
