Kim Kardashian is all about the unexpected lately. Riding the high of her current Vogue cover, she’s been flexing in many things other than her signature form-fitting look. Earlier this week at the star-studded event in support of California congressional candidate Marianne Williamson, Kardashian stepped out in a perfectly-executed menswear look by Paris-based label Faith Connection. Equal parts slick and asset baring, the all-black (everything) jumpsuit and tuxedo jacket really hit the menswear nail on the head.

We’re only a few days into the circus that’s Fashion Month and there’s already some exceptional front row celebrity watching to be had. Kelly Rowland and Hailee Steinfeld were two of the many celebrities attending the New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 shows this past weekend, sitting front row at Public School and Prabal Gurung, respectively. Both stars stepped out in black and white ensembles that borrowed some inspiration from the southwest, a trend that Chanel just may have helped start with their Dallas show.

Kelly Rowland debuted a new bob at the Public School Fall 2014 show—which included the label’s first womenswear collection—and while we were certainly getting some throwback Destiny’s Child vibes, we couldn’t look past her leather ensemble. The Tom Ford Fall 2013 top certainly helped Rowland tap into her Texas roots, as it incorporated some serious Southern-style fringe-work on the sleeves and hem. Rowland finished her look off with a white KTZ undershirt splashed with foreign text on the hem and thigh-high leather Christian Louboutin boots. The R&B songstress was definitely having a rock star moment with her ensemble.

While we’ve seen both Blake Lively and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley flaunt their gorgeous figures in statement mini dresses, the two blonde bombshells proved that they can take a midi skirt and make it look just as sexy and elegant on the red carpet.

Accompanying her husband, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively attended the premiere of the animated film Turbo in New York City last night. While the couple both wore Burberry, Lively inevitably turned heads in a fresh summery ensemble. Contrasting Reynolds’ midnight-blue suit, the former Gossip Girl star wore a simple sheer grey tank top and a white form-fitting pencil skirt with crystal embellishments from Burberry Prorsum’s Resort 2014 collection. She also elongated the appearance of her legs by opting for a pair of nude pointed-toe heels by Christian Louboutin. Adding to the sparkles, she accessorized with rose cut diamond earrings and 18 karat white, pink and yellow gold rings by Lorraine Schwartz. (The perfect complement to her super-sized engagement ring and wedding band!)
