It’s the afternoon after the Chanel cruise show and the party animals are just beginning to stir.

In true St. Tropez form, Karl Lagerfeld threw a bash that went on into the wee hours, with free-flowing champagne, lots of Lady Gaga on the soundtrack, and models in full celebration mode (and flats) to fête Chanel makeup creative director Peter Phillips‘ birthday.

British fashion magazine Dazed and Confused christened its first iPad-compatible issue the “Iran Issue,” due to Apple’s insisting they censor all nipples. While Apple (understandably) wants to keep its content squeaky clean, the i-empire may need to realize that a European fashion magazine without nudity is like our magazine without shoes. Chronicle Books has just announced the November release of a 400-page retrospective look at Anna Sui’s 20 years in the biz. The coffee table tome includes fashion spreads, text written by Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton, a preface by Jack White and a foreword by Sui herself. [WWD]

The Joe Fresh Style show is always a crowd pleaser. Flying in top models (Crystal Renn and Kirsten Owen), debuting the new single from Shawn Desman and filling the front row with local celebs and socialites gave the show must-see buzz. While the last few seasons at Joe have shown crystal clear messages on the runway, last night’s presentation was more of a mash-up of fall’s hottest trends. With fun fur, military, sweatpants, and schoolboy, the show had much more of as street-style focus. Piece by piece, there were lots of lust-haves. Tricked-out biker boots, chain-strap bags, puffy jackets and all of the faux fur bits are sure to be big hits once they hit Loblaw and Real Canadian Superstores in a few months, but the show missed the cult caché of the past few seasons.

Joe Fresh Style announced today that Crystal Renn and Kirsten Owen will be the guest models at the brand’s Fall 2010 presentation next week. Booking top models has become a regular feature of the Joe shows. Past presentations have featured Coco Rocha, Irina Lazareanu, and for the Spring 2010 show, Theodora Richards.

Mark Fast showed his fall collection in London on Saturday. The live feed, didn’t work out, unfortunately, but we have the video now. Fast again populated his show with a few normal-sized models–including Crystal Renn–and showed a parade of his signature short, tight open work knits.

News of Yohji Yamamoto quickly and quietly closing his two New York stores last night left people wondering what lay ahead for the designer. It is now being reported that the closure of the NYC stores is just a part of a bigger ripple effect, with stores closing all over the globe. [Racked]

The big true or false question that invaded the fashion world yesterday–will Sarah Jessica Parker be taking on a role at Halston–is true. Halston has not yet disclosed what exactly SJP will be doing, but it will be interesting to watch how the fashion icon will work her style in to the brand. [Vogue UK]

Shots from V‘s upcoming and already over-hyped “plus-size issue” are out. Terry Richardson’s “One Size Fits All” features side-by-side shots of Jacquelyn Jablonski and a not-really-plus-sized Crystal Renn in the same pose in the same outfit. Fashion stylist is apparently the when-I-grow-up job of the aughts. Except for celebrity stylist, which according to 10 editor Sophia Neophitou is “something you just don’t want to become.” Take that, Zoe-ophytes. [Times UK]
