Talk about one stacked cast! Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Beyoncé are all slated to star in the upcoming movie musical, One Hit Wonders. Witherspoon, Paltrow, and Diaz will play singers from the ‘90s who decide to form a girl group to kick-start their failed careers. First reaction: Pseudo-Spice Girls? We’re sold! Second reaction: Can there please be promotional Chupa Chups for this film?

We’re still pouring over all the red carpet pictures from last night’s Academy Awards but there were four hairstyles that stood out the very moment we saw them. Twitter exploded when Viola Davis stepped out with her natural hair and we have to agree—the cropped cut is stunning and the slight red colour takes her green dress to a whole new level. Stacy Keibler‘s makeup may have veered into “too tanned” territory, but her Old Hollywood hair was impeccable. The low side part was fixed in the back with a roll that blended into the rest of her waves perfectly—a trick we’ll certainly be copying in the future! Onto Jessica Chastain: based on the last time we saw her hair down, we’re guessing she was wearing extensions, but you would never know it. All extension-loving starlets need to find out who her hairstylist is, pronto! They were flawless, and the long, cascading curls were so elegant we’ll forgive her half-updo. And finally, if you can take a moment to stop admiring Gwyneth Paltrow‘s red-carpet cape, you’ll be equally impressed by her low-slung ponytail. From the front it had the appearance of a sleek faux bob, and from the back it was so sculpted and voluminous—but without a hint of the crown teasing that most other red-carpet ponies tend to acquire.

Some of the top Fall runway trends made their way deep into red carpet territory tonight, as the A-listers put on Hollywood’s biggest and best parade. From the rich reds on Emma Stone and Natalie Portman seen this season on the runway at Michael Kors, to the crisp whites on Gwyneth Paltrow, Rooney Mara, and Octavia Spencer seen at Raf Simons‘ last Jil Sander collection (not to mention everywhere at the Golden Globes), to the peplums spotted on Michelle Williams, Tina Fey, and just about every runway from New York to Milan, it seems that everyone is drinking the same Kool-Aid. But who did it best? We’re loving Gwyneth, Michelle, Jessica, Rooney, and Angelina (her right leg gets a special shout-out), but who makes your cut? Not bad for a boy from Long Island, New York. Adored by Hollywood A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez, soccer moms and First Ladies alike (Michelle Obama wore Kors for her first official White House portrait), his rise to fashion royalty took off in 1981, when he launched his eponymous womenswear line.

In New York, celebrities and other pretty young things are given the ultimate VIP treatment (think private areas at nightclubs and concerts, and multiple security guard escorts before and after fashion shows). As I look around me at the Burberry Prorsum after party, held at Burberry headquarters on Horseferry Road, I realize that is not quite the case in London. To my left? Mary-Kate Olsen. To my right? Emma Watson, the face of Burberry’s fall/winter ad campaign. Yes, we are all bouncing around together to the music of The Kooks, who have arrived to do a live set (the lead singer makes sure to thank “Christopher.” Could that be Christopher Bailey, I wonder?!).
