Street Style, New York: 52 photos of Hudson’s Bay stripes, spring-worthy layers and ’90s style outside the Fall 2014 shows
Despite the still-cold, still-snowy conditions in New York City, yesterday the fashion set threw caution to the chilly wind and made like it was spring. Breezy layers, exposed legs and bright colours continued to be popular street style choices outside Monday’s Fall 2014 shows, which included Carolina Herrera, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Theory. There were obviously some people who heeded their mother’s advice from years gone by and bundled up—but even then a colourful, strappy shoe or sheer layer helped liven the look up.
In today’s batch of photos, our photographer Stefani Yarhi did a little stripe spotting, capturing two colourful Hudson’s Bay blanket coats in Monday’s street style mix. Also wearing a rainbow of colour was Helena Bordon, in head-to-toe Spring 2014 Prada including the coveted pop art-inspired jacket, athletic shin socks and an embellished skirt. Leandra Medine wore a gorgeous tangerine duster, done in ’90s minimalism with high-waisted denim and an off-white turtleneck and sweater.

Model Parent: 12 genetic lottery winners who are turning their good looks into real careers
While coming of age for most kids involves obsessing over Ryan Gosling’s abs or donning an ill-fitting mermaid dress to semi-formal, celebrity kids can burn mileage on what we’re calling “family flame fame.” Celebrity kids are genetic lottery winners: hardwired to be talented, ridiculously good looking and sometimes both. At the sprightly young age of 10, Victoria and David Beckham’s son Romeo has gotten a head start on his career by starring in Burberry’s Spring 2013 advertising. Meanwhile, Cindy Crawford’s eleven-year-old daughter Kaia has fronted Versace’s children’s range.
Celebrity kids are certainly modeling earlier these days and while they may not all live up to the stature of their parents, they’ve certainly got enough moxy to gain It girl status. Here are our top 12 favourite model children.

Rethink Breast Cancer fights back with the help of Patti Hansen
Marking a decade of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer by Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada, the organization has teamed up with Joe Fresh once again for limited-edition sequined tees, colorful bullseye tees for men and women, and a classic black tote, with all proceeds going towards the cause. Instantly recognizable, Rethink’s campaign reminds women to ‘target’ breast cancer with a bullseye emblazoned across their signature t-shirts. Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is a charitable group put together by the Council of Fashion Designers of America to get leading retailers and designers involved with the cause, and has raised nearly $50 million dollars for the fight against breast cancer.

Q&A: Theodora Richards splurges on unicorn-hair shorts
Theodora Richards—the 25-year-old model progeny of Patti Hansen and Keith Richards—is, you imagine, a high-rolling rock heiress. Mustn’t her trust fund be just heaped with Rolling Stones royalties? And modelling still pays, right? In the past few years, she’s fronted for Burberry, Erin Kleinberg and—alongside big sis Alexandra—French Connection. This spring, she joins fellow rock […]
