They said/We said: André Leon Talley is coming back to reality TV with a new fashion show… wait, haven’t we heard this before?
Photography by Henry S. Dziekan III/WireImage We’ve been missing André Leon Talley—former Vogue editor-at-large, forever cape-wearer and sole creator of “dreckitude”—in our lives ever since he left his seat at the judges’ table on America’s Next Top Model. Lucky for us, the fashion icon will be starring in a new Bravo reality fashion show (yes, another one of those), tentatively titled Fashion Stories of NYC.

Enjoy today’s visual feast, and be sure to come back next week when we share our snaps from Toronto.

They said/We said: Kelly Cutrone will replace Andre Teon Talley on America’s Next Top Model. Cue the waterworks!
Photography by Moises De Pena/Getty Images Looks like Tyra’s gaining another female perspective. It was announced this morning that Kelly Cutrone will replace Andre Leon Talley as the fourth America’s Next Top Model judge next season. Known for her intense attitude (and that’s putting it mildly) on The Hills and The City, the founder of now-famed PR firm People’s Revolution will no doubt up the drama ante on the panel.
As for the rumours that a tiff with Banks is the reason for Talley’s departure, he dismissed them, telling Page Six “It’s all good in the neighborhood.” (Oh, okay.) Although we’re sad to see Talley’s high-fashion credibility go, Cutrone’s blunt and quote-worthy advice is sure to bring some entertaining moments. Cue the waterworks.

Fashion news: Givenchy nixes couture runway, McQueen’s ashes buried and teen plastic surgeries on the rise
Photo via Grazia Givenchy has nixed its couture runway show in favour of private appointments. “I want to make couture even more special than it is, and not just another catwalk show,” designer Riccardo Tisci told WWD. “People can really experience the couture moment: See it, touch it.” The 10-look collection will contain no black (a first for him, says Tisci) and the designer is quick to point out that the new format is not a money saver–it will cost about 35 per cent more than a runway show.
