Kate Middleton wears Tory Burch while joining Prince George on a playdate

Big day, guys! Prince George had his first official royal engagement this morning: he attended a playgroup with the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society. It’s a group that supports families and babies down under and hopefully they all got some training on how to not drop your child the moment Kate Middleton appears, as we’re pretty sure that would be our reaction.
In true Kate style, the duchess looked flawless in a printed dress by Tory Burch that was both playful and perfectly suited for a royal appearance. It’s Kate’s first time wearing Tory Burch, and devoted followers of her wardrobe choices have speculated that the black and white print is what made her choose this look, as those are the official colours of New Zealand. The dress is, of course, already sold out, though should you be able to get your hands on one, its stretch fabric and textured fringe make it an ideal item for wearing around dozens of babies. Bonus: it coordinated quite well with George’s ah-dor-able navy blue smocked dungarees, which were by British designer Rachel Riley.

Kate Middleton celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in a trenchcoat by Hobbs and with another flawless blowout

Happy St Paddy’s Day! While Irish folk (and those just looking for a good time) revel with green beer on this side of the pond, the royals were up for ceremony in England. Earlier today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took part in a 300-person parade with members of the British army in Aldershot. And while spreading Irish luck might have been the ostensible theme, y’all know Kate’s coat is what we want to talk about. In 2012 and 2013, the Duchess wore a shamrock green coatdress by British designer Emilia Wickstead, and while it served her well both with and without baby bump, she’s retired it in favour of today’s coat: a double breasted wool trench by high street brand Hobbs. The Persephone coat (it’s on sale!) is cinched to perfection with a green snakeskin belt, paired with green suede pumps by Valerie Carbon and embellished with a gold Cartier shamrock brooch previously worn by the Queen Mother and Princess Anne. Overtop her latest blowout, Kate’s wearing the hard-shell beret by milliner Gina Foster that debuted on Christmas Day. Underneath those flowing locks, there are green amethyst drop earrings by Kiki McDonough—but what’s frosting when the cake’s already so flawless?

Kate Middleton wears an azure blue L.K. Bennett dress on Valentine’s Day

Based on her diamond-encrusted outing earlier this week and a morning spent in the public eye today, it seems Kate Middleton’s royal engagement schedule is back on track—and we couldn’t be more chuffed. This morning Kate was out in the London borough of Ealing to officially open The Art Room at Northolt High School, and helping spread some feel-good Valentine’s Day vibes along the way.
As a Royal Patron of the charity, Kate has championed its work bringing art therapy to youth undergoing challenges in their lives. While Kate’s appearance was a solo one, it was a giving day for all the royals: Prince William spent the day with Harry, helping the army build flood protection barriers in the southern parts of England. We’ll assume the happy couple will be spending some quality Valentine’s Day time together later tonight.

Christmas Luxury Gifts: 75 fashion trend-inspired items to thrill the stylish ladies on your list
See all the Christmas luxury gifts »
Holiday shopping for the men and women in your life that have exquisite tastes can be a tricky task. But by taking hints from the Fall 2012 runways, shopping for Christmas luxury gifts can be managed a lot easier. We’ve compiled a list of luxury gift ideas just in time for the holiday season to be upon us.
Geometric prints were one of the biggest trends that came down runways for Fall 2012, so impress a lucky lady in your life by honing your Prada knowledge by choosing a luxury gift that is reminiscent of the brand’s fall collection. Or how about looking to the East for Asian-inspired prints in a shoe from Aldo or beauty travel case from Salvatore Ferragamo—both of which wouldn’t look out of place on the Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 runway.
Christmas luxury gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, but it all depends on the giftee’s personal style and tastes. That being said, a fan of Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2012 collection may not appreciate a D.L. & Co. skull candle; so choose your luxury gifts based on his or her sartorial favorites.
The influence of fashion on the gifts featured in our Christmas luxury gift guide will ease you into checking off the stylish family and friends in your life when doing your shopping this holiday season.

Cartier’s new film features three live panthers, one Canadian supermodel, and millions of dollars in diamonds and gems
The premise behind L’Odyssée de Cartier sounds super for a fashion shoot—but even better for a three-minute film by Bruno Aveillan. The noted commercial director dreamed up a scenario that was anything but commercial—a diamond panther, sitting in the window of the Place Vendôme boutique, bursts into a live panther and escapes on an odyssey.
