RIP celebrity airport snaps! The 15 best fashion moments at LAX and beyond through the years
Last week it was announced that LAX would be getting its own “celebrity terminal,” effectively insulating rich and famous people from the mass hysteria and unwanted plebian stares that follow them wherever they go. This is distressing news on a number of fronts (one wonders if Alec Baldwin’s satirical assertion that there’s a “912” emergency […]

Stolen nude photos and the long legacy of invasive celebrity voyeurism
On her Today Show appearance in December 2012, Anne Hathaway brought the noise down on Matt Lauer: “I’m sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants.” At the time, up-the-skirt paparazzi photos of Hathaway were circulating widely, and Lauer had been attempting to shame the actress by asking what she’d […]

The Evolution of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie: A Look Back at Trashy/Classy Reality Star Style
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie style over the years »
A lot has happened since Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie burst onto the scene with their 2003 mega-hit reality show The Simple Life. Their chronic party girl ways (a leaked sex tape, multiple arrests, and some really questionable fashion choices) have been left in the past, but thanks to the Internet, their trashy early 2000s style will live on forever. In honour of the duo’s return to the spotlight—Richie’s reality show #CandidlyNicole and Hilton’s sparkly music career comeback with a pop video—we decided it was time to take a look back at the style metamorphosis of these reality TV veterans.

Masks, tattoos and Mother Monster asleep on a couch. The party for Lady Gaga’s new fragrance, Fame ($59, thebay.com), was indeed unlike any other perfume launch. But hours before she hosted a masquerade ball at New York’s Guggenheim that brought out the A-list (Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang) and the WTF List (Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton), Lady Gaga was wide awake to talk to FASHION about her post-sex rituals (pizza and a movie!), what the colour black means to her and why being a New Yorker makes her pop star perfume better than other celeb scents.
For someone who hasn’t yet smelled Fame, can you describe your fragrance?
“It’s very sexual, it’s very addictive, but it is very chic. The metaphor of the bottle is that when you spray this product, all the good things about fame come out, and all the bad things stay inside. So when you buy this perfume, you can have the lovely smell of it, [while] I’ll be dealing with all the bullshit inside.” -

Amidst the madness, Bill Cunningham was playing with some adorable bulldogs. You better bet we caught that too.

So, who takes the cake?
