Inside the Anna Dello Russo for H&M party in Paris: 26 photos of the international fashion crowd celebrating zany accessories with champagne, lollipops and Azealia Banks
View the Anna Dello Russo for H&M party photos »
Most 51-year-olds would not attempt a minidress with side cut-outs, or at least they shouldn’t. But then most 51-year-olds are not Anna Dello Russo, fashion director at large for Vogue Nippon come street style megastar.
Fashion’s best-known dress-up enthusiast arrived at the Paradis Latin nightclub for the party celebrating her upcoming collaborative accessory collection with H&M, which launches on October 4, in fitting style: descending from the ceiling on a throne of giant fake pink roses, Marilyn Monroe style. Her aqua minidress radiated crystal and gold sunbursts, while golden alligators, which were affixed to her ADR for H&M sunglasses, spanned her brows. One of the best performers in the biz, Anna Dello Russo treated the crowd to a performance alongside fellow European editor and style star Giovanna Battaglia, who had accessorized to the nines in Anna Dello Russo’s H&M collection and even a butterfly-adorned golden headpiece.

Lana Del Rey’s full campaign for H&M has been released. See the images now!
Photography via H&M After the stunning sneak peek last month, Lana Del Rey’s retro-inspired campaign with H&M has finally been revealed in full, and in one word, it’s perfection. The “L.A. noir” inspiration suits Del Rey’s self-described “ghetto Nancy Sinatra” style to a T, and the Blue Jeans chanteuse looks all kinds of beautiful in everything from covet-worthy abstract print skinnies to a sleek and body-conscious tweed dress.

Silver statues of David Beckham will be unveiled in conjunction with his second bodywear collection for H&M
Photography via H&M Like Michelangelo’s David, David Beckham’s body is one of the most celebrated works of art of our time. It’s only fitting then that Beckham is also set to be immortalized in nine 10-foot statues of his hot, hot likeness. The silver statues are part of Beckham’s second bodywear collection for H&M, and they’ll be dotted about the retailer’s New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco locations from Thursday to Sunday.
Not only will locals get the chance to ogle the larger-than-life Beckhams (in underwear, no less), but those who Instagram a photo of the statue with the hashtag #HMBeckham will be in the running for a slew of prizes, including 10 mini statues of him (perfect stocking stuffers), a signed pair of undies and a $1,000 shopping spree at the Swedish retail giant. We haven’t gotten word yet as to why the Great White North is being left out of this gift from god (a.k.a. the manufacturers of the statues), but the States are just a hop and a skip away, right?

Now that S.S. Coachella exists, we have somewhere to wear Cruise collections! Get the scoop and see our 10 fantasy clothing picks
Check out our resort wear picks! »
Weezer’s Caribbean cruise sounded unreal and all, but the most recently announced concert-cruise blows Weezer’s out of the water (pun intended): Coachella organizers have just announced that they’ll be taking to international waters this December as S.S. Coachella, a 2,800-person capacity vessel packed full of indie favourites like Hot Chip, Girl Talk and Yeasayer. The ocean landscape is a far cry from the festival’s usual arid locale in Indio, California, and we have a feeling the heat exhaustion, up-to-the-knee mud splatters and disgusting port-a-potties won’t be missed too much (though they may be replaced by seasickness for some).
