And with that, it’s finito! As fast as they came to London, the fashion flock has dashed off to Milano to take in a week of sure-to-be-epic shows from heavy hitters like Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace. But before we get to that, let’s have one last look at London Fashion Week, where once again, the quirkest dressers showed off their street style. Amongst the zany trends, bright colours once again stood out—especially the cobalt and burgundy patchwork fur coat, eyeball printed sweater, sequined palm tree blouse and rainbow-bright fur clutch we snapped. Not to mention the Prada-esque Geta Geisha platforms we caught in bubblegum pink. Madness! Feast your eyes on these last few lingering street style photos. We daresay the rest of fashion month won’t be anywhere near as wild.

The fashion flock has flown the coop! With Fall 2013 already at an almost-end in London (there’s no such thing as a long weekend during fashion week) this offbeat batch of street style photos from London-based photographer Shirin Fathi will have to quench your street style thirst (until tomorrow that is). Certainly the quirkest city style on the fashion show map, London showed its true colours once again with fashion week showgoers wearing bright colour blends of cobalt blue, pylon orange and acid green as well as being the first to try a head-to-toe Mary Katrantzou from the designer’s postcard-heavy Spring 2013 collection. London showgoers were also the first (we’ve seen in daylight) to break out the champagne while gawking outside the shows, and to them we offer a toast right back. The sun finally showed itself for our final batch of street style from New York Fashion Week, allowing the kaleidoscopic effect created outside Fall 2013 to take hold. Be gone, grey skies!Swedish blogger Elin Kling embraced the cheery lighting with a long and lean white blazer, classic Ray-Ban wayfarers and slim jeans. Giovanna Battaglia brightened her day by pairing unexpected plum purple with brown fur. Anna Wintour debuted what is sure to be her new favourite Prada coat and it even seemed sunny and warm enough for Derek Blasberg to break out his adorable bike, which he rode to fashion week with nothing but a denim jacket to keep him warm. Do you ever feel like street style is just one long extended version of this video? So do we, especially with today’s fresh batch of photos from outside New York Fashion Week. Everyone seems to be having a party, including Kyra Sedgwick, BryanBoy, Rumi Neely and Miroslava Duma, who in the vein of Anna Dello Russo, was spotted in not one, but two designer driven outfits. And as with any good fashion party, the popular girls made their group appearance on West 26^th Street: Virginie, Claire, Jenna and Prisca Courtin-Clarins. As for the party caterer? The apron-clad Karlie Kloss, was out selling her charitable cookies, Karlie’s Kookies (get ‘em here, kids). Chanel’s hula hoop bag! Anna Dello Russo in head-to-toe Prada! A post-Rodarte psychedelic ombré! Boy, are there ever some treasures to behold in today’s batch of street style photos out of New York Fashion Week. All that realness we talked about on Friday seems to have poof! melted with the snow—fashion’s show ponies are truly working for their place in the Fall 2013 spotlight.

While capturing the latest from street style regulars Susie Bubble, Miroslava Duma, Man Repeller Leandra Medine and Shala Monroque ducking in and out of It ticket shows including Rodarte, Narciso Rodriguez and Kate Middleton-favourite Jenny Packham, a few old favourites made their return to our the Fall 2013 radar. Case in point: the newly blond Ulyana Sergeenko, who with regal walker in tow, looked every bit as poster princess for Moscow’s matryoshka doll society as ever. Oh, to be a pore on that skin.

Fashion’s fixations were back for another day of street style action outside Fall 2013’s edition New York Fashion Week, and while the usual suspects were out in full force to see big name collections including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan, there are quite a few new darlings that are catching our eye.

Case in point: Our new favourite gal, Shine by Three blogger Margaret Zhang who looked ripe for the ‘80s-era Wall Street picking in grey suited layers. Obviously a fan of plaid, we photographed her wearing the same pattern in Friday’s street style batch alongside a few more layers of grungy goodness. Watch that face. Another new beauty, Natasha Goldenberg, whose matador-meets-Frida Kahlo-meets-Dries Van Noten look had us all abuzz. Save for the cell phone, she looks like a snapshot of another time we’d really like travel to.

Storm? What storm? If these street style photos from the last few days at New York Fashion week were any indication, Snowmageddon was but a blip on the Fall 2013 show season radar. Despite a record-breaking snowfall (ahem, have you seen the Long Island Expressway?), the fashion flock was rearing to go.

Whereas fur is typically the go to for cold weather fashion weeks (and was worn well by Joanna Hillman and Shala Monroque), it seemed there was a new motto this weekend: tailoring. Peacoats, riding coats, double-breasted wool coats and raincoats were largely favoured this weekend, with everyone from Miroslava Duma to Taylor Tomasi Hill diving in. Outside Friday and Saturday’s shows, Man Repeller Leandra Medine showcased two very different layered looks—a way oversized peacoat layered over jeans, a baggy blue jean button down and heeled white loafers on Friday, and a worn out motorcycle jacket overtop a loose flannel shirt, light boyfriend jeans and black suede booties on Saturday—both worn avec toques with enviable flops.

It’s on! The first day of New York Fashion Week already under our belts and we’re slowly but surely getting back into the street style spin. Despite the snow, the fashion flock has returned to mount Lincoln (Center) to show off between shows that yesterday included BCBG, Richard Chai Love, Creatures of the Wind and homegirl Tanya Taylor. It’s pretty frigid out, and so far it looks like people are keeping it real (save for the bare legged Lauren Santo Domingo at last night’s Dannijo presentation party). Furs, heavy plaids and coat-over-coat layers were all favourites for practical cold weather dressing within these first 17 selects. The 1990s grunge trend seems a perfect match for the weather as well, with many of these ladies sporting button down plaid shirts tied at the waist and worn over shorts layers with toques and bowler hats à la Bridget Fonda in Singles. Oh yes. Stay tuned for our next batch of photos on Monday and enjoy these grungy nuggets in the meantime.

It’s official, Spring 2013 fashion month is over. And after receiving a daily dose of street style photos and runway updates, it would be silly for us to ignore the trends that we saw day after day (after day, after day). It’s hard not to fall victim to sensory overload, but thankfully our street style photographer, Stefania Yarhi, made it easy for us to pick and choose which trends we know we’ll be seeing all spring long. With hundreds of photos from Paris, Milan, London, New York, and Toronto at our disposal, we just couldn’t ignore the countless graphic tops (a day without a Balenciaga sci-fi sweater sighting was a total shocker), exposed bellies, suits, and mixed prints—so we didn’t because we’re positive they will be huge come Spring 2013. We’ve selected 10 of the biggest fashion trends from the streets and the runways and put them together in one place, so gets to clickin’. The leaves may just be starting to fall, but it’s never too early to plan for spring, right? (RIGHT!)

Thursday at World Mastercard Fashion Week put the spring in Spring 2013. With temperatures reaching a freaky October high (mother nature just can’t make up her mind), we saw street stylers ditching their coats and taking advantage of the final moments to show off some skin.

Ainsley Kerr embraced the monochromatic look in full-skirted dress with a silver sparkly clutch and editorial director of Plaid Magazine, Odessa Paloma Parker, wore a red paisley-esque printed dress with Prada baroque sunglasses. Parker makes a case for anyone considering chopping off their hair, her new pixie cut is pretty perfect.

We’ve surpassed the halfway point in Toronto’s World Mastercard Fashion Week Spring 2013 (that’s a mouthful) and the awesome street style photos shot by Stefania Yarhi just keep rolling in. Today’s edition of photos is furr-ocious (sorry, we had to) because everyone decided to go all out in fur. We saw hats, scarves, vests, and more, you name it, it was there in fur.

Humpday of Fashion Week featured some of the biggest shows from leather lovers, Mackage to the nation’s favourite, Joe Fresh—which brought out some of Toronto’s fashion it gals. Anita Clarke of I Want I Got, wore a flannel printed blazer and Jaclyn Genovese of Jacflash matched her flannel dress with a leather moto jacket (the moto jacket has become a favourite of Spring 2013 Fashion Week).

The second day of World MasterCard Fashion Week started with a literal Fashion Shower, a.k.a. it was pouring rain, but there was our street style photographer, Stefania Yarhi, outside in said rain capturing the action. If anything, the doom and gloom of the sky made show-goers turn to colour (funny how that happens) as well as hats—what better to hide the cursed rain hair with?

Dan Levy continued on with the coloured pant trend and matched his yellow-cuffed jeans with a pair of baby blue Converse for a casual and successful fashion week outfit. But really, nothing says casual like the studded eye patch (Peter Gatien 2.0?) we saw one brave man wearing. He was living life on the edge with his combination of studs on his eye plus the studs on his ring.
