Kate Middleton continues her Singapore visit in 3 stunning outfits
See what Kate Middleton’s been wearing in Southeast Asia so far »
With the Royal Trip to East Asia fully under way, Kate Middleton has stepped out for day two, in three unsurprisingly stunning outfits. Beginning this morning (or last night for us on this side of the world), Will and Kate (Okay, Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge on this official occasion) were treated to a tour of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. Lauded as one of the country’s most beautiful parks, this place seriously wows (One Google search reveals such stunning flora and fauna that it rivals Kate Middleton herself…almost).

TIFF 2012: Nina Dobrev wore 3 floral dresses this weekend. Which is your favourite?
See Nina Dobrev’s TIFF outfits up close! »
Home-grown teen queen and FASHION cover girl Nina Dobrev was back in Toronto this weekend to promote her upcoming flick The Perks of Being a Wallflower at TIFF. As if to be taking the film’s title quite literally, Dobrev donned several stunning floral looks over the course of her TIFF appearances. So stunning in fact, that’s pretty much impossible to choose a favourite. But let’s try, shall we?
At Saturday’s TIFF red carpet premiere, Nina Dobrev wore an Oscar-worthy white Monique Lhuillier gown that featured intricate black floral embroidery. One of the frothy confections that has helped amp up this year’s TIFF celebrations from fairly casual to megawatt, the dress induced jealousy-gasps all around at the film’s after party later that night. (Co-star Emma Watson was also feeling the florals, btw, equally stunning in Erdem.)

TIFF 2012: Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev show us the perks of wearing florals at The Perks of Being a Wallflower party
See our full gallery from The Perks of Being a Wallflower party! »
If TIFF parties were award shows, most would be like the Golden Globes—totally fun, but you’ll never really get to sit with the A-listers. However, for a film like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the night is more like the MTV VMAs: from up-and-coming stars to fully-certified teen heartthrobs, everyone’s in on the party. (Which, when you think about it, is actually what The Perks of Being a Wallflower is all about.) Despite all eyes being on Nina Dobrev and Emma Watson, they both circled the room throughout the night, stopping to mingle with guests (or Degrassi-era Toronto friends, in Nina Dobrev’s case) and pose for pictures with fans. Both were also dressed in white, frothy florals: a peplum’d Erdem dress for Emma Watson and a intricately beaded Monique Lhuillier gown for Nina Dobrev.

A complete wardrobe recap from last night’s gilded supermodel invasion of the London Olympics closing ceremony
Among the many highlights of last night’s Olympic Closing Ceremonies, one of our favourites was definitely the supermodel en masse march, a fashion moment that completely cemented London’s role as one of the industry’s capitals. Some of fashion’s most recognized faces, including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell (the definite stars of the show) along with Lily Cole, Stella Tennant, Lily Donaldson, Georgia May Jagger, Karen Elson, Jourdan Dunn and David Gandy, were all clad in seven of Britain’s most revered designers.

Mark those calendars! We’ve got Kate Middleton’s entire Olympic schedule (and 13 Brit-designed outfits we’ve predicted she’ll wear to each event)
See our predictions »
See everything Kate’s worn since her engagement »Feel free to make fun of us, kids. Our Olympics excitement coupled with our usual Kate Middleton freak-outs are going to be particularly out of control for the next three weeks. Alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, Kate’s going to be making a reported 30 Olympic-related appearances over the next few weeks as an Olympic Ambassador, and we’ve got them all tattooed on our foreheads.
Since we’re sure that Kate will wear nothing but Brit wears all Olympics-long, here are some wardrobe predictions for her upcoming appearances.

Kate Middleton was a silver vision in Erdem for the annual Trooping of the Colour celebration
View every look Kate has worn since her engagement »
While we expected Kate would opt for a British designer for Trooping the Colour (the annual parade that celebrates the Queen’s birthday), we were more than happily surprised to see her dressed in Canadian designer Erdem for the big day. This isn’t the first time Kate’s worn Erdem either: during the royal couple’s Canadian tour, she wore the designer twice.

Not all faux glows are created equal. Here’s our self tanning how-to guide to get you through summer the healthy way
By Malena Harbers
Today, it’s all about customizing your tan,” says skin-care expert Nichola Joss, who created a variety of caramel tones for models at the Spring 2012 shows of British designers such as Issa and House of Holland. Designed to work with the spirit of each collection, Joss’s handiwork illustrates the idea that one hue indeed does not fit all. By adding, omitting or changing the way you apply a product, you can create a completely different-looking tan. Here, we break down the shades.

Online Store of the Week: ASOS Salon is back for a second season of the prettiest party dresses a couple hundred dollars can buy (or less, with our exclusive discount!)
The shop: If you don’t know what ASOS is, please invite me to your Amish-Leninist compound some time? The Internet’s massive answer to H&M/Zara/Topshop has evolved from doing cheap knock-offs to doing less-cheap knock-offs, plus selling lots of real-deal designers and fresh contemporary brands in between. Now, one of the more recent additions to this UK e-tailer’s in-house ouevre—ASOS Salon—is back for a second season of the prettiest party dresses a couple hundred dollars can buy.
The goods: Clicking through the dozen-plus frocks on offer at ASOS Salon, a higher-end take on fancy-dress trends, two words come to mind: Carey Mulligan. From the Christopher Kane-a-like coruscating pastels to the Jil Sander-meets-Erdem florals to the Daisy Buchanan-y tea dress, the Salon is so her (red carpet) style. (The exception: a stiff silvery playsuit that feels like something Zooey Deschanel would wear to her barista’s wedding. I hate it.) This collection is one-note, but what a high, sweet note. Prices are more high than sweet, especially compared to regular ASOS, but better construction—albeit same discount viscose-type materials—and loads of texture give these pieces a worthwhile heft. NB: I went to see a few picks in person to make sure I wasn’t lying to you about this. I’m not.
The shipping: Last time I ordered from ASOS.com, the piece arrived promptly in five business days and no-frills packaging. Expect no different: the whole thing of mass retail is being predictably good enough. If you want it faster, pay $12 for express shipping and get it in two biz days maximum. Plus, free returns! Always.
