Stefano Pilati, Karl Lagerfeld, Christophe Decarnin, Hedi Slimane, Alber Elbaz and Raf Simons have all been caught up in the rumour mill–again. According to a number of unnamed sources, Pilati is set to be replaced at YSL with either Slimane, Simons or Decarnin. The Kaiser is rumoured to retire from Chanel in 2012 (on his 30th anniversary with the brand) and will be replaced with Elbaz of Lanvin. And if the gossip is true Theyskens will be replacing Elbaz at Lanvin. [The Cut]

We read something today that we still haven’t fully absorbed: You can get Balmain hair extensions. We assume these aren’t Christophe Decarnin-designed, but instead one of the company’s many licenses. Russian Vogue has devoted their April 2010 issue entirely to newly-minted Russian resident Naomi Campbell. The model was also guest editor. Says editor Aliona Doletskaya: “I wanted to debunk a few myths surrounding Naomi. When I suggested the concept, she immediately came and for an hour and a half laid out stories, photography, interviews and other sections.
